Witch's Broom 2016?

I know that SE loves to post the previous year's seasonal events when they come around the next. I can easily see the costumes being put up on the MogStation this coming All Saints' Wake, but what are the chances for the Witch's Broom mount? There hasn't been an actual mount given at the seasonal events yet (though there has been chocobo barding which becomes available), so not really any precedent to look to.

I know I can find out in two and a half months when the event comes back, but I'm looking at possibly switching servers back to one I have done All Saints' Wake (2015) on so have to decide whether or not to transfer or just continue. I have quite a lot done on my current main and the other server doesn't have much at all...but they DO have the full Saints' Wake set/mount. If SE isn't looking at letting the mount become available (at least this year) I honestly don't mind doing all the work again (which comes to about two or three extra months).

Every other seasonal event has had it's item put on the cash shop during or around the time of the following years event (we'll get some moonfire faire and rising stuff on the cash shop around now), that is why KitingGenbu's prediction holds weight, it's not confirmed, but it is safe to assume.

You should've included his sentence before that as well. He's saying he doesn't know if the mount will be put into the cash shop mainly because the Saint's event is the only one to have a seasonal mount.

They haven't put everything from events in the cash shop. If I remember correctly, the christmas barding was never added to the cash shop.

Looking at the MogStation, it looks like they put every seasonal thing up from 2014 onward. The Starlight barding is from 2013...so maybe later? What they don't have from 2014 onwards are many of the non-seasonal (like...pre-patch) events. My fear is that because the broom is a mount that they'll consider that a special case and have it be exclusive. Totally safe to assume the costumes will be available.

SE will put in the cash shop this fall. They lose nothing and gain alot of $$$$, trust me, it will come to the cash shop.

That's my theory as well....it is SUCH a popular mount that they will make a ton of money off of people like me who want it on all their characters putting it on the MogStation. Just there are precedents for recent items not being sold, so they could make an exception because it's a mount... Though with nothing to back up either way...kind of feeling more like they would put it up.
