Just had this idea for a fun Halloween thing. I think it would be super fun if they gave us the ability to do funny things to other houses (i.e. TP the trees and such) for Halloween. I don't know how to suggest this to them so figured I would post it here. How fun would that be to run around for a week messing with peoples yards??? Anyway, just a thought

I don't know about you, but the amount of time it took me to perfectly set up certain combinations is just crazy. And that's nothing compared to what others have invested.
Not to mention people could stack lots of items that break upon putting them back into the inventory, so when the owners later want to sort everything out again, it's impossible for them to target the stacked mess and they can't just retract the furniture and place it anew because it will break.
Just no, way too much bad things people could do with that.

And that's not even taking into account the immense amount of programming the devs would have to do to allow everyone to access everyone's furniture but without the ability to put it into their own inventory.
Development time that is way better spent on creating an actual new fun event and lots of other content.
Oh, and if they mess up even a little bit, a tiny bug somewhere, and people get their worth-millions-upon-millions-of-Gil furniture stolen, the outcry and bad publicity would be crazy.

Yeah, this is a big ol' invitation for players to grief, which I don't think anyone desires.

Halloween themed accessories that do more than act as decoration (like, a mechanical zombie that pops from the ground when a player gets near it), would be interesting, though I don't know if that's already a thing.

I think this idea is feasible. Don't do it in a way that gives players access to moving/removing peoples housing items.

Instead do something like adding item 'TP' and then allowing the player to use this on a tree or bench - it overlaya the item with a tp lookm but nothing is moved.

The owner can then right click -> clean to easily remove it when the event is over. Or maybe there are event rewards based on people cleaning up. 'Naughty' rewards and 'nice' rewards - like trick or treating.

Could have effects like crackers in mailboxes so next person to use it sets off a small explosion. Tp trees and benches. Spray paint a halowwen image on a wall or something - i dunno.

But it doesnt need to give players access to move or remove housing items at all.
