The raid finder.....

At times it is impossible to get in. I haven't gotten in since tonight and that's a major major concern for me. I had a great party... in fact we one shotted a5s and it was exciting all around. But while the party was good..... raid finder is still very much useless right now. If we can't get in unless once in a blue moon someone decides to q, then I think it is useless. How can SE make it better? Make some incentive for using it outside your static or something....

It'll probably take awhile for the new Raid Finder feature to get a lot of use since everyone is all so used to advertising static parties in the Party Finder. Just give it some time and hopefully yes, more incentive will be added down the line just hopefully not something like extra bonus tomes.

End game raids are too complex for unorganized partys the raid finder is fail because of this. Add a voice chat to the game that can cross platform from PS4 to PC and soon the Xbox 1 and youll see more success, add a in game parser so you can quickly tell what fps is out of thier depth, make the raid finder take a balance set of heros no 2 that ate the same class. Change all this and you might have a chance to start seeing a good raid finder.

it doesnt pick 2 of the same job thats why it takes this long
but for the few times i cleared stuff using it i have not waited less than 1:30-2hrs

Has to do with the difficulty level. A group of random people it is too hard to beat the content so people want to play with their friends and thus not many use the raid finder. I am thinking cross server party finder will be more useful for getting a raid party in the future when they add it.

The raid finder serves two purposes.
1) (in theory) it allows a group that is missing people to get someone from the raid finder that matches set criteria
2) it allows a full pre-made to enter the raid from anywhere (instead of at the raid entrance)

Had it been added in 3.2, maybe 1 would have been more common today, but since it was added in the middle of a raid cycle, it's not going to see much use.

Together with the future cross-server party finder, it's going to get better.

The Crossserver party finder wil lbe a better solutin. The Raid Finder is just s Duty Finder with conditions. And it is duty finder for a 1% of the playerbase. So you need be very lucky to get a party locking exactly by your criteria.

The one time my static was down a member and that member didn't care for A5S/A6S, we used the raid finder.
Worked quick and easy for A5 and the guy we got was actually really awesome. Dylan Tribal of the Exodus server, if you're out there, keep up the good work!

In my case which is not everyone's case I actually prefer the challenges that come with raid finder over party finder. I learn a lot better with a bunch of random people verses knowing how a friend or fc mate plays. However, with that said I haven't ran anything in over a month simply because I want to go in & learn, possibly wipe on occasion, learn the layout & mechanics of each dungeon, etc. but apparently this angers people to have to be patient while I learn. If I could walk in by myself I would but this game is not designed that way. No I'm not saying they should make dungeons solo able, I'm just not going to q until I'm ready to take the bs of the day. I don't feel there is any way for SE to make this better either it's up to the people dishing bad comments to stop doing what their doing, or leave.
