Which build is better for blm?

Which build is better for blm? Considering I do both pvp and savage content.

I personally like the build with the Padjali Rod better. Since I can get over 1009 spell speed with the Padjali Rod build and my cast time with that build is 2.25s.

With the Hailstorm Rod, I can get 1079 spell speed but I will lose 78 determination. I guess my cast time for fire 1 with 1079 spell speed will be around 2.23s?

I don't think 0.02s really matter considering I already have high spell speed. And with the extra 78 determination with the Padjali Rod, I should have slightly higher dps output with the Padjali Rod build.

What's your opinion on these two builds?

Having high DPS output is useless if the spell miss

Otherwise focus having high SS and high crit

You never have tpo much spellspeed because it allow much more flexibily in movement

The best rod are hordes and relic right now

My spell speed is 1009 and I can get 4 fire IV's without keylines. Not sure what the best build is for raiding buy I did emphasize spell speed and crit on my relic and gear.

I have enough accuracy with food buff, I never missed a hit with food buff in a5s. I know hordes rod is great but I do not have access to them. No farm party wants someone with bonus.

To do Savage content, you need at least 603 accuracy, it starts at 550 at A5S.

Other than that, go with Crit and SS.

For my BLM i don't have much in terms of gear but i have 400 Det, 1049 SS and 832 Crit. my acc is at 517 but im working to up it up.

With this SS i can do what i normaly do, Blizzard III (wait a bit for your MP to be full) > Fire III>Fire I (For the proc)> Spam Fire IV then end with Fire III. This normally allows you one Fire I and 4 Fire IV and still leave enough time for the FIre III Proc to go without Astral Fire going down, equaling to full damage, this without Ley Lines.

With Ley Lines it gives me time to, at the end, Convert, 2 more Fire IV then back to Blizzard III > Blizzard IV

Do whatever you can to get more spell speed as a BLM.

It is incredibly powerful compared to other secondary stats. No resource worries, minimal dot clipping issues, and that .02 seconds can be the difference between either Blizz 4 landing or dropping Enochain.

Seriously. Spell speed.

That's about 200 more spell speed than you need for 4 Fire IV's without lines. Just a heads up.
