MATERIA COMBINING

Aside from the random trade 5 materia of your choice for a random materia and possible upgrade - I would love to see the ability/function to combine materia into a higher grade of the same type.

It could work at the same NPC "Mutamix" in Central Thanalan. You could go into a menu where you would deposit..saaaay....10-20 of materia of one grade and it would GUARANTEE a materia of the same type but of the next grade.

Not only would this ease the frustrations of DoL/DoH getting their T4-T5 materia (especially when we/they compare how easy it is to get T4/T5 DoW/DoM materia), but it would reinvigorate the Grade 1 - Grade 3 materia markets across all servers, not only making it challenging, yet less frustrating to get the materia, but also giving newer players a good way to earn spare gil other than killing dungeon monsters for 3gil a piece or asking their high level friends for a gil loan.

Also as a plus - the Spiritbonding parties would make a strong return and could give the overworld activities of the game (yes, yes I know - Hunts are a thing too) a much needed boost as far as social activities go.
