Summoner:
Honestly they're doing just fine, but if there were one change I'd make, it'd be to make Miasma 2 a much lower level spell. The SMN is an AoE specialist but is lacking an AoE DoT at lower levels (15th lvl dungeon), which affects their dungeon play. They're fine because they can get Bliz 2 from THM for low level dungeon mob swarms and sub it to their class (great DD and crowd control AoE).
But the class itself lacks any AoE capability until 30th level when you get Bane. It can make up for this currently by using Bliz 2, but apparently not many SMN use Miasma 2 at higher levels as its less damage than Miasma 1, and by that point you can just use Bane to Spread the larger more damaging version to all targets anyway. So moving it to lower level fixes all that.
But that's the only adjustment I'd make. Still its not like this class needs any real help, its doing just fine.
I enjoy Blm just as much but only gotten that one to level 26 at this point and its doing well.
something for smn that can refresh or give me a chance to refresh my aetherflow skill like bloodletter refresh of bard
From what I read... most of the requests for Summoner are generally more of a visual or stylistic thing...
The job itself does indeed do what the Summoner in the games does, its literally an AoE specialist... with a slow buildup to a big boom.
But admittedly the visuals and terminology is different. So I think what most people want when they talk about it is something more spectacular visually. The job itself is solid and needs no help, but I think its more about Aesthetics.
I suppose I should explain that... the mechanics of the Summoner are slow buildups to the big boom...
Example...
1st cast: Bio... first slow buildup... fast cast but has a recast timer for everything... the first DoT
2nd cast: Miasma... second spell... adding the debuff to stop healing... and stacking another DoT
3rd cast: Bio II... third spell... adding an even larger DoT...
So now we have 3 stacked DoTs ticking away... then the big Boom...
4th cast: BANE... (this would normally be the part in other games where the big Summoned Elemental or Baphomet appears and blasts everything on the field... BOOM)... the DoT spreads to all other targets. So now Everything in range is ticking away at this slow buildup of stacked DoTs with the Big BOOM that spread it to the entire field.

When looking at it this way... with just the base Mechanic... you can see the Summoner IS indeed doing it exactly like the Summoners in other FF games... its just that the visuals are different.
This is what I see most people talking about, they are too hung up on the Visuals and Aesthetics... not really thinking about what the mechanics of the class are actually doing.
I want to see each job get unique LB1 and LB2 animations too. MNK usinf Braver or Blade Dance doesn't make sense.
DRG:
LB1: High Jump
LB2: Penta Thrust
MNK:
LB1: Aura Blast
LB2: Asuran Fists
NIN:
LB1: Shark Bite
LB2: Evisceration
SAM can keep Braver and Blade Dance.
MCH can keep Big Shot and Desperado.
BRD:
LB1: Refulgent Arrow
LB2: Coronach
SMN:
LB1: Judgement Bolt
LB2: Diamond Dust
SMN doing pretty good atm, mayyybe a lower cd on fester and more aetherstacks for single target burst, which is really the only thing i think its even hurting in honestly I might even switch back to my old main BLM after reading that enochians getting changed, switched to smn i didnt really like it much. was sad,
Actually I have a suggestion for ast noct stance It will have a recast of 90 sec.So what happens is that everyone is topped off with sheilds.Click on the skill and the sheilds burst and turn into 15 sec of regen.Strong but not as strong as sch/whm regen.Kind of like whispering dawn but without the fairy.Sorry if I don't have a name I am just no creative haha.
Maybe a piercing arrows skill for Bards that makes all/certain ST weapon skills temporarily have a line aoe like the MCH/BRD LB. It'd make it easier to multidot and refresh Straight Shot. Make it last around 10s and put it on a 80s cooldown.
