Server Transfer and Selling Plots

I'd like to do a server transfer, but currently I have a medium house which I worked quite hard to obtain. I rather not lose all the money I've put into this house, but I read manually relinquishing plots will not get me back the 80% refund compare to auto demolishing (which is offline anyways, and I have to not play the game for 90 days). And selling plots in PF is a subject for banning.

Is my only option right now losing all the gil I've put into the house?

its a mixed bag of nuts, some gm's don't care, others do. Usually if you bought the plot just to re-sell it they crap their pants. But as long as your not asking for a absurd amount and have owned and occupied the house for a good amount of time, usually you can get away with it but its still frowned apon, but in a nutshell yes, your going to lose gil.

I don't really have a safe and legitimate answer to give, but just wanted to point out that it's not that you have to stay logged out for 45 days (When the reclamation timer is active), you just have to not step inside the house.

Is the auto demolishing still offline? Cause they said they would turn it back on in patch 3.35 which is now live.

Don't think it has been turned back on yet, its not listed in the 3.35 patch notes.

I think it was planned for 3.4 together with the apartments. But that would mean the OP would have to wait maybe another 2 months till 3.4 hits, in the hope that it will be enabled by then, and another 45 days after for the auto demolishing to take effect. And we still don't know if you get the 80% back, since it was just something they were considering of doing not a 100% thing, as least as I am aware off. Maybe I can find the link to the interview, i'll update my comment then.

Not really, if you convert your gil into items to sell on the new server. Sometimes you can even turn a profit.

This is what confuses me, are you saying the amount you paid for it or ALL the gil you put into it like furniture and stuff? Say you bought a medium house before the price reduction for 37 million and you put another 40 million worth of stuff into the house if you try to sell it for say 80 million a GM would come after you if it was brought to their attention. Cause pretty double the price of what you paid for the house would be considered a "high amount"

You have two allowed options, relinquish and reclamation but as you know reclamation is still on hold for a little while longer so you might want to consider just not moving right now if gil is more important to you or you could create a new character on that other server for time being then bring the house owning character across later when reclamation comes back and have waited 45 days to qualify for the partial refund. Also like someone else said the reclamation timer when back online isn't based on whether or not you play, it's based on whether or not you enter your house during that period.

Neither might be the ideal solution for you but selling plots is against the ToS, SE does not want people treating houses/plots as a commodity to buy and sell between players. You might get away with it if your lucky and such a sale went under the radar (though unlikely now given you have made such intentions known on here) but generally if caught you will end up punished by SE which could range from stripping you of your house with no refund or stripping you of the gil made from the sale leaving you with nothing from it anyways plus end up with a strike against your account in both cases...or you might just get outright banned like others have in the past despite them honoring their agreement with the buyer and only charging less than half the games value of the plot.

SE might add an NPC controlled repurchase from player option in future I suppose or adding a percentage refund to the relinquish option that gives some back and then automatically puts back on the market itself but would need to be substantially less than the plot cost to prevent using house/plot ownership as an extended bank account. They also might not. Like I said they do not want people treating housing/plots as commodities, buying and selling between each other. If you get caught you might well be banned like others have for doing so even though they never charged people much and didn't renege on the deal.
