Apartments / Public housing question

Morning all,

Wow, first post on here in nearly three years! I've recently come back to game and one of the things I've been searching for are updates on apartments/public housing.

I've rolled an entirely new characters on an entirely new server so Ishgard is ways off yet, but did the rumoured apartment system ever make it into the game? If not, does anyone know if there are still plans to implement it? I'm having trouble finding reliable info through google.

It's rumored to be implemented in next patch (3.4) but sounds like a Inn room sooo doesnt sound that great imho.

Ah ok, I was hoping it'd be a full-on apartment - say three or four rooms or something.

If I didn't have a personal house and it's what I think they going to implement I would be very disappointed. But I wanted gardening plots.

It's supposed to be in patch 3.4. From what they said it's going to be instanced like an Inn with private rooms just larger. I don't have big expectations. Seems it will be small and without gardening. The good side is that it's going to be cheap.

I don't think anyone knows how large these will be. I suspect they'll be a lot more than an inn room and didn't they talk about tying to have some type of inside gardening? I hope they also have neighborhood housing at some point in Ishgard as well.

It would nice if the apartments had a balcony with a view. They could have a small 3 plant pot out there for gardening.

Trying to find the quote, but they said about wouldn't have gardening, but they'd look into it (and we now have pots for indoor gardening, except no crossbreeding)

I know I have my hopes up. But I am seriously hoping the apartments will be well... apartments like a one bed room loft. Or ones with two or three small rooms that's joined together. I just..hope it's not one room like the FC chambers. That's already in game why would we need another one of those.
