These were all brought over from WoW, where these kind of things are commonplace. They've seldom happened to me in this game (typically due to level sync), but they're still sore spots when they occur:Some annoying behaviors and perceptions
• As a tank, players that pull for me. This gets my goat.... Heck, it gets my whole herd of goats. I'm one of those that actually enjoys tanking, so for someone to try to do my job for me is taking food off my table, very disrespectful. To further exasperate the situation, it's always the well-geared ones that do it - I hardly see crap-geared players pull for me - so "you pull it, you tank it" doesn't really work. Then there's the healer, keeping The Usurper healed up. I don't know if he's just haplessly doing his job, or if he's in on it with him. The few times I've piped up and said something I either get ignored or lol'ed at, so I usually just /leave. I'd rather be a 30 minute deserter than a 10 minute figurehead.
• As a healer, unpredictable tanks. I either want them pulling big all the time, or pulling small all the time. I want them either using their CDs properly (hint: Don't pop 'em all when you're only fighting 1-2 monsters), or not at all. Problem is is that some tanks can get whimsical, suddenly going from one group at a time to pulling a whole room at once and/or using cooldowns when we'll be spending most of our time moving out of AoE. Stuff like this really throws me off my rhythm, putting me in "React Mode", which is very stressful.
• As a DPSer, some combination of the above two. Basically, as a DPSer I have to endure long waits unless it's Deep Dungeon (which is usually a minute at the most). So when I actually do manage to get a group I'd like it to be worth my while when I'm there. But when I have to run with Pokey Little Puppies, solo questers, or Tackleberry tanks it's frustrating. A waste of time.
