While I do say hellos at the start of dungeons, I'd like to point out that it's possible that some people are not used to interacting with people they won't see again IRL. I say hello to neighbors, bus drivers, employees at university/work, cashiers and bartenders, because there's a chance I'll bump into them again multiple times. I don't say hello to people I sit next to in the bus, people waiting at the same bus stop, random passers by on the street, people that sat down near me in the park/beach or people in the same waiting line as me. It's just how it goes where I'm from.

Duty Finder is cross realm and randomized which makes the interaction less like bumping into neighbors and more like bumping into random people living in the same large city, so I don't wonder why some people don't bother with hellos.

People that stand in the stupid. Not gonna waste MP on a person who chooses to not move out of the stupid.

I'm not saying I want to be real life buddies with you or make you open your heart and tell me what issues you have with your GF/BF/Job or whatever. Heck I don't ask for conversation too. A polite greeting is enough. It's matter of politeness. We are not bots. It's the only online game that I played that feels really lonely sometimes. There is no need to be chatty. Just polite. You are teaming up with real people not with NPCs. But the no talk thing really bothers me when people are first time and never say or ask for help. Then we end up dieing because that person didn't know what to do. We could avoid at if he asked for directions. Silence really kills at those situations.

Seen a few tanks running after a mob they lost pulling the pack out of dps aoe, toward ranged dps and healer, get them cleaved real good, and lose the other mobs while trying to get the aggro on that one mob that ran away.
If the guy that got the aggro just come close enough to the tank's aggro aoe none of this should happen
Shame I didn't film those times the healer literally ran with a pack of mobs all the way back to the entrance of dungeon. I seriously mean they ran away. Like half the dungeon all the way back. Then he died. For those times I was speaking about.

I just hate people that never listen when being lectured from their mistakes. Most of them never talk, too.

I also HATE people who leave right when the duty starts without a single world and people who AFK for more than 5 minutes (Although I'll forgive it if it's something reasonable).

I hate players that lecture. Simple one sentence on a mechanic is usually enough, or, if it's just 1 time, that person probably knows they dun goofed and don't need you to point it out.

A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

Well, there's always bound to be someone that can't take a hint at what they've done wrong the second time, which really tries my patience. It's better to lecture someone about their mistake instead of shutting up about it and wiping the 3rd time and wipe again.
People shouldn't be upset that someone is lecturing a player because that means they're trying to help. I don't care about their ego.

I don't know why you're putting the word "lecture" at such a negative light but it's pretty much the same as helping someone understand the fight.

a thing that i've seen that i hate is when someone trashes another person for "doing bad at their job" when said member is doing worse at their job than the person they're trashing. example: tank bashing a dps for making a single mistake while constantly losing aggro

There are a lot of bad assumptions by the OP and some others in here about specific groups in this thread. For example as another person already pointed out the so called scared tank type mentioned is quite often due to that tank waiting on specific cool downs or maybe he has noticed the healer and/or DPS are TP or MP starved, another is about the DPS AoE group which in reality as a DPS myself I target single mobs in large groups when I am TP starved and I am pretty sure that is also the case for many others.

I might also target single mobs in a large group if that large group is right before a boss in order to have enough TP for my initial wildfire rotation right after move on to the boss given tanks don't always wait for the groups TP/MP regen in my experience when reach a boss. I will sometimes not use some of my GCD skills too in the prior large group of generic mobs before a boss for the same reason as mentioned above in order to have them ready for the main fight coming up right after.

Something else I take issue with by the OP is the 'ghost' group he mentions. As someone who does quite often merely say hiya, hey or hello at the start of the run but does not talk for the rest...as far as I am concerned I set a polite tone by acknowledging the others at the start and greeting them already; if the run is going smoothly then I see no reason to talk just for the sake of talking. Most of the people I will never see again due to being cross-server DF runs most of the time, I feel no need to build a long lasting friendship with them. Just being polite and greeting them is fine yet I still fall into his 'ghost' group based on his initial post.
