BLM Relic stats (Please read the whole post)

Hey all,

I am almost ready to complete the 240 blm relic but I have a question about what stats to place in it. Now I know Spell Speed and Crit are our best stats, but I have some conflicting information regarding crit.

I have heard that crit begins to receive diminishing returns at around 750-800 and at that point its not as useful to put points into crit. I have also been told that its good to keep crit and det as balanced as possible. For example, ive been told its better to have 700 crit, 700 det instead of 900 crit, 500 det.

As a blm, ive always stacked Spell speed and crit. At present, my stats are:

Spell speed: 1019 Crit 820 Det 547. I have the 230 lore weapon at present.

Now im pretty certain spell speed will be a must in a relic... but my question is this.. do I put crit into my relic.. or do I put det into it to balance out the stats? Im leaning towards crit but im curious as to what other blm think and if anyone can confirm/deny the diminishing returns.

I would put the best stats in your relic and worry about other stats in gear.

See how much crit you need then put the rest in det. Ss is a must.

I went 120 SS, 116 crit, 4 acc.

the weird tiny bit of acc means I could replace one of the acc melds I had previously with a crit V, and hit the magical 591 acc figure
