I don't remember seeing a Swethyna during the Lancer quests. (though it has been two years)

When I was trying to map the guild leadership (both 1.0 and ARR), a pattern made itself rather apparent: guilds just happen to be where they are.

Who runs the "classroom" (guild) may or may not be affiliated who owns the establishment (or even who manages its non-guild activities).

In 1.0, Faustigeant was the ALC guildmaster, but Eolande Quiveron was the owner and director and sat on the Syndicate. Serendipity runs the guild at Eshtaime's Lapidaries, but it and Eshtaime's Aesthetics are owned by Lolorito (and maybe managed by someone between the two, at that, considering how many pies Lolorito's got his fingers in). The Maelstrom just moved the Marauders' Guild entirely and took it over.

Swethyna probably heads the Wood Wailers, but has nothing to do with the Lancers Guild, which just happens to be stationed at the Wailing Barracks to train both future wailers and adventurers who would might help the guild (and the Wailers) in exchange for lessons.
