That is why I wish we had a thread with all the entries, so we can see.

Because the hairstyle contest I guess, they probably wanted to avoid the same mess ^^"

I would love to hear from the developers why they decided to pick those entries and not the other ones.

My guess would be feasablility, they probably want something that look nice but not to hard to modelize either and that can be unisex. I think there is also personnal preferences, western armors being more "cute" and fun in general than eastern which are....well less cute and fun xD (but this is a total guess)
