It's the same song and dance with the Atma and we been through this before; we have the "oh it's not that bad stop whining" side and the "too much luck and you just got lucky while the rest of us were not" side. Just search for those threads and we pretty much can just apply that here.

+1. The same people who complained about atma will complain about this.
And yet you still see people farming in the most inefficient way, then complaining about how it takes so long. You only need a silver in any fate, which is literally just a few hits. Can easily get in a few hits on a fate, or kill a few mobs, then move to the next, with the amount of people farming, the fate is still quickly completed. You still get people sitting, hammering one fate until its finished, and missing all the other fates going on at the same time, then wondering why they're not progressing very quickly

-1 : it's not respectful to the people who can't leave because there's not enough people to finish the fate. It happened to me, we were on a boss fate, at 90% most of the team left, and it took us the same time to do 0=>90% as 90=>100% because of that...
If everyone were "efficient" as you say (I'll call it selfish) then no fate would finish, and you're "efficient" way would be "ineffecient" too.

This only works if only a few people do it. If everyone started doing this no FATE would be completed and the overall spawn cycle of the FATEs would be greatly slowed down. The result is that a couple of players get massively accelerated FATE clears whilst everyone else ends up missing half the FATEs because those selfish few keep clearing them before everyone else can get there.

I've had times where I get left alone on a boss FATE to solo it because everyone else got their hits in and left. In those cases I just leave the FATE (I am not going to solo it for those other players) and it ends up failing. How is that at all efficient farming?

Never complained about Atma (was not there at that time) but I still find that horrible.
Thats just a mean way to fate farm. :/ I had that happen yesterday with a boss, they all left and me and Titan were the only one. It took way longer alone but I did not want to go away because it might not finish then and everything would be lost. And lets not forget that the fates are getting harder with more people clearing it so it might be impossible to clear alone.

that is not a nice thing to do to the MT, only do that if you have people who try to do all the fates at the same time.

The amount of times a FATE would reset because everyone buggered off and the stragglers were, rightfully, like "well bugger this."
It also got on my nerves when people would go to another FATE and start doing it away from the group, isn't that just counterintuitive? Rather than get 2 FATES and 2 chances at LMs you only get once chance...

I think they meant if the entire fate pack ran off when the fate was incomplete and there was no one left to finish it, then the leaving early method would become inefficient.

But how do you know that there are more people coming to do that fate after you left? And what if everyone would do your "efficient" way and leave the fate as soon as they got silver? Nobody would finish it and you would loose all the time you put into it. It will only go right if there are enough people left that will stick with it to the bitter end while you get to another fate..And since some of those fate will have quite the big HP it might not even be enough to finish it in time with barely any people there.

And you also finished it that fast because you must have a lot of luck on your side too. I did all three 30er in outer la noscea with the two fates and yet it took me a whole day to finish those three sets. So even if you are trying to do it the most efficient way RNG can still kick you in the behind.
