I for one love my Spooky-Puff, Jr.
Even though I said that I wont do the weapons I gave in and did some. Now on my 9th weapon (already farmed the 30 for the last three..) and I really dislike the person that thought that this was a good idea. Dear SE there is a middle ground between events that you can do in half a hour (aka nearly all of the normal events we get) and events that will take your soul away thanks to the rng..
I will not look up what Yokai Watch is all about..I don't hate it thanks to the event but I also wont like it..and if its true what some wrote and the creator of Yokai Watch wanted it to be so hard to collect them all then I have no words left. I think a funny but much more shorter event (does not need to take two month) would have been better and still would have made some people curious about this show. At least for me I might have started to like those yokais if we had some more nice cutscenes with them instead of: go grind endlessly and wow grats to your minion and weapon..
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
English is NOT my mother language, French is. Use my recruitment code MV9YGNXD before paying your sub and get cool items. http://sqex.to/Cz9
why are people complaining about "big bad rng", the droprate is something between 30-40%, it isnt even bad, its actually very high
sometimes you may only got 1 medal out of 10 fates, sometimes you'll get 4 in a row, in the end you'll end up with about 600-700 fates done
Because its still luck. Even if its 50% it would still mean that some people might be so unlucky that they barely get anything while others gets 6 in a row. RNG has no memory so it will always be 30% each time which means a chance of 70% to get nothing. I have 8 weapons right now with 442 fates done which seems to be kinda lucky? Yet one of the first that got the second mount needed around 566 fates which is not that far away to what I have and I have still 5 weapons left to do. A friend of mine started his farming way before me and yet I have more weapons than him already, he is really unlucky. So for me its just seems unfair, some will finish this in way less fates than others even though all do the same. Thats not fun for me.
If we could at least exchange the common medals with some legendary ones..this would balance out really bad luck.
And even over the span of two months, doing 600 fates does not sound like fun. X_X

It's the same song and dance with the Atma and we been through this before; we have the "oh it's not that bad stop whining" side and the "too much luck and you just got lucky while the rest of us were not" side. Just search for those threads and we pretty much can just apply that here.why are people complaining about "big bad rng", the droprate is something between 30-40%, it isnt even bad, its actually very high

i got my mount too ^^ ...after 770 fates :O
can't wait for the people who missed out the event, begging for bringing it back and then complaining about the grind x)
