Area and Coordinates:
First noticed this occurrence while in Gold Saucer right after redeeming and using minion items, and trying to summon minions. No change in result regardless of location.

Housing:
Not sure if this helps, but I did not realize until after my first couple of attempts to summon that I had not reclaimed my Chocobo which was marked as lost (I was kicked out from an FC when it apparently split up due to drama while I was not ingame and my chocobo was stabled at that FC house before getting invited back to my current FC.). After reclaiming my Chocobo, summoning it, and then Withdrawing it, I tried to summon my Yo-kai Watch event minions once again, but it still did not work.

Steps:
1. I started the Yo-Kai Watch event questline using my level 39 BLM, but had switched to my level 60 WHM at some point when I approached Whisper Go at the Great Tree (?) near Bentbranch. (Not sure if this impacted the process, but I did complete the quest chain, got the achievement, and got my Yo-Kai Watch item + rewards.)

2. Put on my watch, went to run a few fates in Western La Noscea with a friend, realized I could have bought a minion with what few medals I did have on hand, teleported back to Gold Saucer and redeemed Komasan. Used the minion item to add it to my companion guide, item disappeared from inventory since it was used, and it appeared in my Medallium. Tried to summon it, wasn't able to.

3. Realized that maybe it might have had to do with the fact that my chocobo was "lost", followed instructions to reclaim it from the Housing Enthusiast in Mist. Ported back to Aleport, summoned it, withdrew it, and tried again to summon Komasan. Still unable to do so. I was able to access the Yo-Kai Medallium from my inventory as well as through my minion guide FYI, but I was just unable to summon it. I can left click on on Komasan in the medallion to switch it to display in the Medallium panel when it is open, but that's it. Subsequent left clicking or right clicking does absolutely nothing to summon it.

4. Noticed I still had a few regular Yo-kai medals left, ported to Gold Saucer, redeemed Jibanyan, USApyon and Whisper. (Haven't bought any others since then.) Tried switching and summoning them. Could not summon either. Same issue.

5. Tried summoning other minions (the regular ones). No problems at all. I could summon and withdraw them. No problems with minion roulette either. (No error messages appearing on screen or chat window either FYI)

6. Tried summoning and withdrawing my chocobo again before attempting to summon Yo-kai minions. Again, I was unable to do it. Left-clicking yielded no summon. Right-clicking on the minion button in Medallium did absolutely nothing either.

7. Logged out, logged back in. Unable to summon minion.

8. Tried logging out and logging back in again. Still unable to summon minion.

9. Opened support ticket.

10. Did full log out, exited game. Logged back in. Still unable to summon minion. Gave up, went to bed.

11. Logged in again next day (Thursday 28 July 2016, 10pm GMT+8). Received canned response in support desk, responded to re-clarify that I was not seeking hints, and that I really was experiencing a problem with summoning pets.

12. Received another response, think about 20 mins after my response. Was directed to NPC Jonathas in Old Gridania, which, quite frankly, was NOT the solution to my problems. Tried it anyway so that at least I could say I tried it and it failed. (Hurray, got my ACN level 50 ring and barding from an achievement, both of which I forgot to redeem. Thanks for that. I mean it.)

13. Responded to inform (rather exasperatedly this time) that I really didn't see how Jonathas had anything to do with my inability to summon the Yo-kai minion, and that I wouldn't be able to farm my Yo-kai weapons if this kept up.

14. GM Berttiax approaches me in-game, runs through everything (as reported above) with me, deduces it is an in-game bug, and directs me to the forums to report it. (Thank you very much.)

To note: I still have no trouble summoning companions/mounts as well as all regular minions. Only the yo-kai watch minions cannot be summoned - no reaction when I click on the buttons.
