Lvling from 30 to 50 is really easy.. With a party you are able to gain 1000+ EXP for a chain.
I tried to lvl my r20 today and I got around 100 EXP for fighting one mob at same lvl.
As you remember the fights are much more difficult and take longer time now.

With that said, you are able to get EXTREMELY more EXP with a party and you need MUCH more time if you play solo. It's nearly impossible to play solo now.

True, getting to 30 is now the hard part. Leves aren't too bad but the EXP can get poor in some small ranges, making it feel like it takes forever. Soloing is a lot more rough than it used to be. I think this is also partially because some of the crafting recipes for gear in that range is still missing.

What are you killing your lvl that only gives 100exp? really? since 1.19 i have yet to kill something 1 lvl under me for only 100 exp.

At lvl 1, your normal XP from leve kill (same level) is around 60-70 XP. This will gradually grow as your level grows, to 250 XP/kill at lvl 50 (same level leve kill). Non-leve mob gives ~70% more XP than leve mob.
