    Broadened Difficulty Settings For All Dungeons?

    I think each dungeon should have customizable difficulty settings. This way content will never be outdated, and payers should have things to do no matter what level.

    OPTION 1

    The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak. (easy) lv 10+ (normal) lv 25+ (hard) lv 40+

    Dzemael Darkhold. (easy) 15+ (normal) 30+ (hard) 45+

    or OPTION 2.

    The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak. (slider) [lv 1-50]

    Dzemael Darkhold. (slider) [lv 1-50]

    So in option 1, there are 3 different difficulty settings for each dungeon that are geared toward low, mid, and high levels.

    In option 2, we have more of a broadened guild leve difficulty settings. We can choose what dungeon we want to play in, and set the level of the mobs.

    Lower Settings = basic mob loot drops, and gil.

    It's bad enough that I'm grinding Ifrit over and over in the hopes of getting something to drop, but the last thing I want to do is keep revisiting older dungeons that I already ran the hell out of at different levels.

    If this is a going forward thing..I dunno, it may hold some merit. It'd be too much gear put into circulation though I think, especially if you go with slider method. There's not much point in making a dungeon without shiny loots. It's just an instanced xp group at that point.

    This would be totaly an option and a way for players to enjoy all content no matter the level.

    Its one of those things, that if you have too much gear, either turn it into materia, Market it, or sell it to an NPC.

    And yes it would have to be a going forward thing.

    Consider that each difficulty level multiplies the amount of time the developers and testers have to spend on each dungeon!

    That said, I don't actually dislike the idea, I just question its feasibility, especially in Option 2's case. It's much easier to design a dungeon once, for a particular level range.

    Now, what /I'd/ like to see is level sync functionality, personally, to solve this problem, although it'll be a while before I have every job I'm interested in leveling leveled past Toto-Rak level.
