    I like how NPC who show up in other sidequests. remember your avatar, this makes the world feel alive. I dislike how the game is stuck in a status quo and I dislike how they keep bringing back the ATMA RNGHELL, even after alot of players complained about it.

    -The art and art style is what made me play this game pretty much. I love Akihiko Yoshida's work but too bad he left SE so he's not really handling this game's art direction anymore.
    -The world. It's really beautiful with lots of sights to see but sometimes I wish it was bigger because zones feel so cramped.
    -The music, although I preferred 1.0 music much more. I don't know why they replaced those themes.
    -The lore and story but I think the storytelling could be better, and I think 1.0 did pretty well on that regard. The lore of this game is really good but I wish it was more fleshed out. (maybe more city-state MSQs?)

    Dislike:
    -The open world is really boring and mostly useless in terms of content. FATEs and hunts aren't fun and are "zerged" so there's really no challenge. The overworld doesn't feel dangerous when it should've been after experiencing a Calamity. Overworld mobs are pushovers, no more mobs over the level cap and no more mob AI like back then, which gave them more character.
    -Content feels watered down and there's not much middle ground at all. Most content are too easy, not very fun, lacks creativity like dungeons, alliance raids (although Mhach was pretty good), PotD etc and this is coming from a casual player. Leveling experience is too easy that most of the community lack experience and ends up being very bad at the game.
    -MSQ is mandatory to access almost everything in the game. Honestly, I wouldn't mind it if the entire 2.x MSQ didn't involve so much fetch or kill filler quests (which drives away so many new players).
    -Battle system and encounters feel linear, heavily scripted and not much strategics involved since encounters are about memorizing scripted mechanics. Stats feel boring, no variety or flavor at all.
    -This is probably the most fanservicey main FF title I've ever encountered that I don't think FFXIV is very original, but I know it's not really a bad thing. Even 1.0 felt more original to me.
    -Content has no longevity. Anything before the current patch becomes obsolete, especially dungeons (which are only ran for tomestones anyway). Most of 2.x's content became obsolete as well after Heavensward, same thing happened with 1.x after ARR. It's such a waste.
    -I feel like the gear treadmill is too fast. Maybe SE isn't doing vertical progression right or this kind of progression isn't doing very well for them at all.
    -Raid gear doesn't feel special or rewarding for raiders as it used to be and even casual players can be on-par with raiders within the catch-up patches because it's easy to gear up at the highest ilvl (but not particularly BiS) at that point because upgrades are available in easy content.
    -Two of my favorite jobs, Dark Knight and Summoner aren't true to the tradition, especially DRK.

    Crafting - there is something wrong with the whole system, is rng not fun crafting system , the ppl that say "i like it" but then use macros for everything...SE needs to overhaul it...

    Gathering - It was bad before , now is just ugh....why everything needs to be so complicated in FFXIV?

    Endgame - 4 encounters every 6 months, it wasnt that bad in 2.0 but 3.0 has been yawn , Diadem , LoV , Deep Dungeon , Anima quest chain , everything has been a huge failure in my book , Diadem and LoV is obvius , Anima is rehashed 2.0 relic with forced crafting items.... no cool , Deep Dungeon is better than Diadem but still missed the mark , having to redo 1-40 in order to able to gain arm / armor , the lack of challenge as 4 man , and how D.D. works if u go solo ....

    Mounts in 3.0 - 0.000001% drop rates , Cash shop , or 20000 mentor dungeons , arent acceptable at all...

    What is your favourite thing about FFXIV :
    First gameplay, i mean the ability to play everything with a single character
    Story (after the 2.0 which i did not find very interesting)
    Art, locations looks a pretty nice and the musics are awesome
    Lalafell ! :3

    What is your least favourite, and why?

    Gameplay, classes are very....common, no risk traken (but yet, after the 1.0 i can understand that)
    TIME LIMIT in dungeons, SE why ? Y.Y I mean, sometimes we spend so much time on a boss the best we can do is just abandon the mission and come back instead of spending hours (if we want to) in the same instance
    Housing system is cool....when you can get a plot....
    Invisible walls, it saddest me not to be able to go wherever i want
    All those "restriction" regarding data for retainers / housing
    SE's attitude towards non japanese players, i know we are never satisfied and we do not speak japaness but sometimes i just feel like a second zone player :/

    I'de say that I like the game in itself (but yet havent seen everything of it because community but we are not supposed to flame it here so i'll just zip it ), my issues are more with the company that runs it ^^"

    I think the reason for that is because instanced content like dungeons or trials which involve cross-server parties have their own servers, that's why characters in an instance are labeled as "Another World" ("World" being a term for server in this game) and pretty much a time limit is needed so people won't hog on that server's space. It's just a hunch though, so I might be wrong.
    That wouldn't be a problem if the dungeons were open-world I guess.

    Like: the world, the lore, the gameplay (yes even Bard's WM even though I'm in the minority sue me)

    Dislike: some of the presented meta. PVP (no interest), crafting (also no interest).
    RNG USED to bother me but...no. no more. playing other, even more RNG-based games has showed me this RNG is nothing.

    The story is pretty good. I also like the game's overall look. Also, I like that there is an abundance of things to do to keep you busy. Can't get bored unless you tend to rush things.

    Dislike:
    Glamour system sucks. Should've been like DCUO. The lack of customizing your character's look (face, beard, body type, etc.). Inventory issues and the fact that I have to pay for more inventory. I don't do PVP, but the limitation of GC in PVP is the worst in game idea.

    Tht's a hard question, because I like almost everything. But I will remark the ones i most like.

    I like:
    - Story. I love it, and also how epic are batltes like Ultima, Thordan or Nidhogg.
    - Beautiful and detailed world (Azys Lla <3). I don't care if not last generation graphics, it is still beautiful and can be handle even on old PC.
    - Music. People will kill me, but I like much more Soken music than Uematsu.
    - Gear progression, Relic and general desing on gear. I like how it works and how they look.
    - How the high level content is done. I want more, but the current one and the old ARR are great.

    What I dislike...
    - PVP, but not only this game, I dislike PVP in every game.
    - Gathering materiasl is long, and timed gathering points are annoying. YOu msut stop doing stuff and pay attention to the time to go gather.
    - Hasty touch. Is the WORST skill ever. Even with Steady Hand II, his fail rate is annoying.
    - Community, but not in general, just specific things. Complaing and not constructive cristicism in forums, and on game, people demanding to others the impossible or the how newies are trated in the game by some people.
    - Low drop rate on some specific tihngs, like Atma, Yokai etc. I prefer have to grind more stuff at 100% rate than few at 5% rate.
    - Roll system sometimes is unfair, making you running 60 times a thing if you have bad luck on rolls (or even you gear doesn't drop).

    Like: There's just so much to do and so many things to choose from, as long as you're not motivated by the shiny battle gear at the end of the tunnel. This is a collectors' game with abundant mounts, minions, glamours and furniture and it suits my fancy. And of course the story is always interesting.

    Dislikes: The combat jobs have too similar game play. Almost everyone has combos, there is no longer a fully mobile job (combos or casts or gtfo), healers are almost the same and tanks mitigate the same way by pressing a button every 20 seconds. I'd want more smart heals and chain heals, damage and heals radiating one another, active mitigation for tanks (instead of a tank stance you have to generate and consume a resource often enough to keep up a tank buff - without the same old combo rotation!), mobile ranged dps, more pet jobs and less clumsy pet AI, melee dps that aren't combo-based and dps with a choice between melee and ranged. There should also be at least simple talent trees; players should be able to choose between certain skills for each fight and change their rotation. This system could be expanded on top of the attribute point system. I'd love this kind of horizontal customization even though I hate the idea of horizontal gear progression due to inventory issues.

    Oh there's another dislike, inventory issues. My third dislike would be how sensitive this game is to a bad internet connection. I can play almost any other game easily when my bf is browsing youtube but not this one. My combos don't register / they cancel and casts seem to finish but don't land. Sometimes I get interrupted as if I moved even though I stood still for 10 seconds beforehand. It's stupid. Why is this game so bad with lag when other games are not?
