Reoccuring Symbols

So throughout my adventures i noticed a certain symbol appearing on several buildings

Here in the nevereap:


On the walkways of Zenith:



And as the standard Garlean symbol:



Is this all just coincidence? Or might there be a reason with this symbol?

I want to say it's a coincidence caused by the same team having to come up with dozens of designs and just having some simple things repeat... but that might just be because I was so sure that the Sharlayan Sage symbol was mirrored and rotated and had an eye put at its center to become the Scions of the Seventh Dawn symbol, and it was all a coincidence, lol.

I ... will keep an eye out, though. Darksteelfoil hat-y? Yes. Interesting? Also yes.

Wow, I never even picked up on that! Nice catch! Now it makes my theory that Ala Mhigo was originally formed by descendants of Allag (who took their technology with them and spirited it away deep beneath the city ala Ultima Weapon), as well as Garlemald is now starting to ring true....

I can see the Vanu Vanu and the Garleans having similar symbols due to a shared Allagan history, but the one at Zenith....

Of course, if the Zenith one predates the Vanu Vanu/Garlean/Allagan ones....

I agree on that point. The one in zenith might just be a coincidence caused by mirrored textures.

Doesnt explin why stuff with allagan relations use the symbol as i have yet to see it on any actual allagan stuff.

If I remember correctly the vanu drape thing is inside aquapolis as well, if you get deep enough for the scenery to change look up at the rafters.
