Aether Currents moved

I am fully aware they moved them, this is the 6th character I have leveled to 60. My question to SE is why? What was the point of moving them? It forced players to explore the new zones. After continuing through 8 of 10 were moved and I wasted time because in NO patch notes did it say oh by the way we moved aether currents to make it even easier for new people.

Exploration should be because you like it, not because flying is locked behind it.
