HUGE FPS drop and CPU usage spikes after patch

    Hey guys.

I just got home and downloaded lastest patch.
Logged in, and i get these HUGE frame drops, also, checking CPU usage, it spikes a lot in ffxiv exec. process (i'm even having problems typing this down while i have my game in the background).

Already tried switching back to dx9; using bordeless window/full screen; downloaded lastest Nvidia driver (after the problem started ofc, so that's not the issue imo).
    No overclocking, no nothing .

I had absolutely no problems before last patch.

    Specs:

    I5 3570K
    6 GB RAM
    GTX 660Ti

    Help pls!!!

UPDATE: I reinstalled the game, worked fine.

Closed it, re-opened it, and issue happened again.

Make sure the client process is added to nvidia control panel.

Manage 3D settings - Program settings tab.

    Thanks for the answer.

I tried that, but didnt work.

Also, wanna point out that it starts dropping FPS and being CPU intense after a couple mins.

Can you confirm it is the FF client taking up CPU resources and not another process in task manager.

Can you also check your CPU clock speed that its boosting when under load(not overheating)

I have gotten this exact issue since the latest update. Game worked completely fine beforehand, and never had any issues previously. Hopefully they fix it. D:
