So you have not completed the event yet then, there are 13 weapons to get and you get a 2nd mount for getting all the weapons.

I finished the event on Thursday, clocking in at 788 fates total, consistent with what others have said about it being around 800 fates average

The fact we have to call it the least painful part of a horrible idea does not exactly bode well. I'm surprised people are going all the way and trying to get every weapon when they likely will make it 100% drop rate on the last two weeks or something. If they don't I'd imagine there will be a lot of unhappy people.

I agree with that. I think it's really boring and lazy content.

All done! I did not count my FATEs but based on my leftover medal count (which isn't perfect, as I forgot to equip the watch a few times; there were also a few times I forgot to resummon my minion after logging in) I estimate about 760 FATEs total.

In the process of doing this, I knocked out three 2.x novus relics from nearly zero progress -> nexus, as well as made pretty good progress on a 4th (It's 250 FATEs now to go from novus to nexus, so if you have any of these sitting around, knock a few of them out! Nexus weapons are pretty!)

I also made the Date With Destiny VI achievement (10,000 FATEs), granting the title The Fortunate, which is not something I've seen anyone else with yet on my server (although I'm sure there must be some that have it unlocked)

All in all, glad to be done, and glad I didn't JUST get event stuff out of this and also made some progress on other things, particularly since getting EXP wasn't an option for me since everything's capped already.

Now back to the POTD grind~

It took me 740 FATES to get all minions, weapons, and both mounts. So it is a 30 percent Legendary Medal drop rate for my grind. Good luck to everyone else still wanting to carry on with this FATEd path.

Finally done with it after 648 Fates. X_X I hate fates even more now but the sad truth is, that we get another event with fates on Friday. *cries bitterly* Hopefully those tokens will drop every time..
Its sad that after the NPC told me how I should feel proud of it, I only managed to feel relieved that its done and not truly happy at all..that never happened with any mounts that I farmed before..

And even though some of those yokai minions are cute I cant feel anything positive for them right now. Maybe it will get better after some time but I will not search for this yokai stuff outside of the game, so somehow they managed to make me feel the opposite of what they wanted to do for this event.

Is it true that as you purchase more weapons, the drop rate for legendary medals goes down? If so, is it better to farm all your medals, then buy all the weapons at once? I've only bought my scholar weapon so far and I've got a bunch of medals for different weapons and I was wondering what was quickest XD

Not true, the drop rate stays the same. You just need more medals as you acquire more weapons.
