I like it, I am farming grand compny seals for anima moonstones and levelling post 50 class with low level fates, I don't think the legendary drop deserves that atma drop sound though, they should have used those cool event jingles.
First off, admin post celebration
While technically the admin wasn't the first to post that info, it seems like a lot of people think that they need to stockpile Regular Yokai medals when in reality, they don't. While it's true that the farm for all of the weapons seems harrowing, it's definitely not required of the player, and in fact the event caters to players who only want to get 2 or 3 weapons. This is supported by the initially low medallion requirement for the first few weapons and the rather meager yet flashy reward for getting them all.
I personally am already 10 medals into my 8th weapon, and am planning to hoard the Regular medallions because they act as a counter for the number of Fates I have done. So far I am at 296 Fates for those 97 medals, which solidifies the fact that the drop rate is really around 30% instead of the 10% I keep seeing people kick around.
Well, I guess that's sort of a sly reminder that we won't be getting any sort of exchange method eventually...To verify a few points as discussed in this thread: if obtaining only Legendary Medals is your goal, you don't have to have the Yo-kai Watch equipped.
Not sure if anyone's seen this or posted it, but I found it amusing that the Wandering Minstrel is also farming during this event!

I have done approximately 200 fates and have just got my 3rd weapon, so my luck is a lot worse than yours. Some get them fast others do not.

703 FATES later and I have both of my mount. It's probably been mentioned but you need 30 tokens for the last 3 weapons each, so save the easiest for last...
I'm saving Manjimutt, Kyubi, and Komasan for last since all 3 of them have really traffic heavy areas that are great for farming Fates. They also have 3 different areas since I've realized my sanity can only take ~45 medals per area in a row.
easy area is the place which do not have hundreads of players instantly killing fates and you can't even see any fate enemies since they are invisible.
One of the easiest places are the 2 daily FATES in Outer La Kobold Stronghold. They spawn each other so as soon as one is done the other will spawn every time. Pretty easy three to do as the spawns are predictable and barely any downtime if you go back and forth. I've seen people camp the cliff and just do the one that spawns in the west room too if you are lazy.
There is the extreme of this, but if you have 2 Fate Groups that are not splitting up and doing different fates, then it's a much more efficient way to farm Fates. Pro tip: Do the fate as a Tank, since your contribution is weighed on how much aggro you have on an enemy when they die. The ability to spam Flash-like abilities is a god send for high population scenarios, and will make this event go much quicker than trying to do it solo or in a group of four.
