A word of advice: save Blizzaria, USApyon and Noko for the final weapons. You can get their legendary medals in Outer La Noscea, where there are 2 FATEs that pop back to back in U'ghamaro Mines (Fullmetal Alchemist and Making the Rounds). They are related, so as you complete one, the other one will pop inmediatly. There's also a 3rd FATE that spawns in between these two, which is related to the Crystal Tower quest (Stopping the Shakes). That FATE MELTS, so go do it asap when it pops for an extra chance of getting your medals.

I know that, I was wearing it to keep track on how many FATEs I was doing.

Interesting. I didn't have 100% drop rate on regular medals when I had it on, so I wonder how accurate your count is.

Weird. The only way you don't get a medal is if you either fail it or if you get Bronze. Regarding the accuracy... I'd say not completely, I may have missed some medals because I wasn't wearing the watch (swapping classes and whatnot). But at most I probably missed around 10 or 20 FATEs total. This isn't taking into account the amount of medals needed for the minions.
