This isn't the first short-barreled gun MCH has access to, and the Gauss floated in front of that one, too. The thing is, though, that the Gauss Barrel was ALWAYS intended to be a drone hovering in front of your gun, not an actual attachment. Even for guns long enough to LOOK like it's attached, if you examine closely it's not QUITE attached. The Gauss Barrel floats in front of your gun, and as bullets pass through it it accelerates them for extra damage.

MCH's autoturrets also hover, so this is just another example of the same technology.

My point is, the distance between gauss barrel and the weapon model is too big. I don't mind it hovering a bit in front of my weapons, but in case of the Musket of the Metal Cat(and appearently some other models too - which I never knew, because I don't have those weapons), it's just too much.

The aesthetic design of MCH (and by extent, BRD in regards to glamour options) has always been a weakpoint of the job.

The turrets hover through propellers, and they are not interacting with any of your equipment. For example, your hats would be placed "on top" of your hair rather than interacting with it and being placed on your head.

Gauss barrel is supposed to be an "attachment" (which is problem of it's own thanks to WM) that doesn't even bother to slap a model onto the gun properly, and moreso for other weapons (such as bismarck's weapon). Sure we can hide it with the option, but it's client sided only. And honestly while I welcome it, it still goes to show how aesthetically unappealing that a core ability of MCH is so unanimous that they had to implement an option just to outright hide it.... and all of this is in mind that they had scrapped the idea of multiple attachments for gameplay because part of the reason was they didn't want to design attachments for each weapon...

It has been this way since GB was introduced, happens on many weapons not just the one you mentioned and also looks very odd on weapons which have multiple barrels because it is not aligned to them all. I do not consider it a big deal though, I prefer to keep it GB off unless needed and when needed turned on for the run then back off again after. Aesthetically in general GB floating additional attachment is not a pleasing thing to look at.

You know I actually like it better than circling around the weapon obscuring my view of it.

How about just getting rid of the gauss barrel (wanderer's minuet) function in the first place and stop adding a casting bar to every action!

I'm glad to finally have shorter barreled weapons, but why not just allow full hiding of the Gauss Barrel for entirely? If it's a matter of ensuring people know it's on, there is an icon for it like tank stances, Monk stances, Cleric Stance, etc. So why not just fully hide it and allow for more gun diversity overall?

And on that note, more carbines/muskets with stocks and scopes, please. Makes no sense that a bow (Rosenbogen) would have a scope, but a gun wouldn't.

I'm not proud of what I'd do for a tactical visor/mask combo, or generally any decent tactical and/or tech-y looking gear for a job that, lore-wise, deals heavily with cutting edge technology. . .

Regardless of misinformation or not, Yokai watch was vastly unknown to the core group of people I play with as well as many people on my server, but that doesn't excuse such lazy development, this is blatantly neglect on SE for not understanding how their own gun models work with GB. This event is and shall be remember as nothing more then paid advertisement for content, that Yoshi himself wouldn't ever be in this game.
