Fat Moogle Mount on Mogstation!

I miss a lot other items like:

- Scions Healer's Gear and hairstyle
- Scions Rogue's Gear and hairstyle
- Dress-up Y'shtola
- Wind-up Krile
- Red Fenrir

When I saw the data for the mount I though "something well done like this wouldn't be on the mogstation". I even tried to make quests faster so I could achieve 60 and decided to level up my crafters a bit in case I needed them to get the mount. Now here I am, A sea of salt.

Not defending SE here, but we all knew it wouldn't be a reward from the beast tribes, since every tribe has 1 mount at max rank and the moggles got already that ugly dandelion mount. We also knew there weren't any beast tribes being added since it's clearly stated to be a hotfix patch, and even if they added another tribe, there would have been any explanation or reason for that mount. Sorry to say, but that's your own fault for speeding/rushing through content and then complain at the end.

I didn't though that it would be a reward from beast tribes either. But yes, I though that it would be a reward for something. And I'm not crying that I decided to "rush" any kind of content (I did read all my quests, like I'm used to, and do not mind leveling my crafters), I just wanted to point out this to show that I was excited with the mount and god forbid feeling excited with anything in this game. My disappointment has nothing to do with rushing content and that's not my point.

Because there's a chance that these items would not have been made at all if they weren't going to charge money for them. They probably have a separate budget to work with. If the items are not funded with our sub $£€ (my guess is that mog station items are funded by mog station profits) then obviously we are not entitled to the items without paying more than our sub cost.

There's no way to confirm that though.

I've never played a Korean F2P MMO but I'll gladly be compared to a whale. They are amazing, intelligent creatures.

Guilty as I feel about it, the mount is amazing in all honesty. It's a giant fat moogle that makes their little floaty sounds constantly while you sit under it; it also plays Moggle Mog's theme!

Ngl I wanna feel angry at the price, and I am - but right now the mount is just too worth it for me to care >>

I knew this thing would be on the CS when I heard about it along with the Red Fenrir (saw the picture someone datamined up that is), so it was no surprise it would have shown up on there through the notice on the lodestone.

Also surprised no one has mentioned that it plays the Great King Moggle Mog theme from Thornmarch when you ride it (edit: nevermind, someone did!). It could have easily been a reward from there, but meh. I'll still get it, just for the lulz, it's a two seater, and has a moogle dance action attached to it as a mount action. xD

Two of the most popular MMOs are subscription based and have cash shops. Before that, there was Everquest and Everquest 2, before they went F2P. It's been a viable model for quite a few years now, so saying P2P shouldn't have a cash shop is kinda moot at this point. If you don't like it don't use it, just don't expect everyone to share that view point.

IMO they should lower the amount of stuff that is being put into game and put more stuff into cash shop instead.
If people would buy it, why not?

They could sell summon skins, relic skins, maybe optional paths in dungeons, you could buy other ways and choose which one you will run so you won't get bored so fast in expert, also additional housing plots, songs.

Many people seem to be also interested in PvP mounts, most probably A4s mount and EM primals mounts too?

70e for medium housing plot sounds reasonable I think.

So apparently everyone complaining is on welfare for you? Money means nothing for cash shop mounts...

I didn't say anything about people complaining. Just that I don't feel guilty dropping money on a cosmetic item. Not sure where you got that from...
