I'll be sure to use the mount more often and possibly start a fat moogle parade in Idyleshire.Im hating this mount extremily, imagine multiple FAT asses with tiny pig feet on your whole screen when rushing to S rank spawn. While huge mount is ok when the actual body of mount is under the rider and ingame physics doesnt clutter your viewing area with said mounts animations in your face. But those obesse shitholes swiveling in your face as mount user does his movement inputs is realy disgusting to me personaly.
If only they would change the model of that fatass to be something more like huge muscular moogle and not this overblown ready to die from gangrene parody, because flowers and seating chair is cute tho.....

The back of the mount reminds me of moobs. Can never unsee. D:

If you need proof that the community in the forums is not largely representative of the community in-game, look no further than this thread. Most of the upvoted posts here are ones that express anti-cash shop sentiment...yet when I log into my character at Idyllshire, its a wall of these fat things as far as the eye can see.
Just an interesting observation.
Who woulda thought that forum posters are drop in the ocean compared to the actual player count? If you need proof that the community in the forums is not largely representative of the community in-game, look no further than this thread. Looking at the minion/mount aggregate site that is Minion Menagerie, your percentages for CS mounts are as follow:
White devil: 2.5%
Red Baron: 1.7%
Slepnir: 11.6%
Bennu: 4%
The moogle mount isn't on their site quite yet, so I can't pull those numbers. Slepnir has been out quite a bit longer than the others and has already gone through a sale period which may explain why the percentage is higher. Overall though, looks like only a pretty small percentage of players buy the mounts. Will be interesting to see numbers on the moogle.

We can kinda judge that already based on who has the Ceremony Chocobo. It has appeal for being a two-seater that doesn't require any "commitment", real or otherwise.Looking at the minion/mount aggregate site that is Minion Menagerie, your percentages for CS mounts are as follow:

EDIT: more to the point, as long as SE is making more money over this mount than they are losing it from people unsubscribing over it (or issues pertaining to it), the cash shop is here to stay, even if I personally dislike it.

Just like in f2p games cash shop buyers of purely aesthetics items are a minority of players.

Welp, after seeing so much of this thing ingame, all I can say is I can't wait for when it goes on sale.
Recolor version of mounts that are available in-game doesn't look attractive to me and im a mounts collector, I have brought both the slepnir and moogle mount at full price the first day both of them came out.
The other mounts are just recolor versions I will just wait on them.
