Mount looks to be of good quality (time spent on it), but just like the EB one, not my cup of tea in design.

You mean the retextured flying fat chocobo with bomb palanquin chains(also retextured)? or the (Allready ingame) Odin mount?
Sure they really broke their backs on those...
On the upside we know they aren't wasting too many resources on these things using existing assets and just morphing them into ungodly apperations looking at you PLD War"Lion" mount.
Your hate is by comparison of what? There's only a few "unique" mounts in this game, and even then, the assets already exist (like the Gobwalker) or are reused over and over (like the primal mounts). When you compare it to what's available now, it's fairly up there in quality. I'm assuming the mogs on the side do something as well. Something tells me you're just needlessly spiteful. You mean the retextured flying fat chocobo with bomb palanquin chains(also retextured)? or the (Allready ingame) Odin mount?

There's actually an instant 100 now, in prep for Legion I guess. Not really a big deal though for that game.
see, as long as that mindset exists then the trend will continue.
Soon enough FF14 will have the same deal and you'll throw out any reasoning to justify it.
Might as well use this too when it finally happens: "Not really a big deal though for this game."
Just to emphasize why I said it's not a big deal. I recently subbed again. I went from 90-100 in 3 or 4 hours with upgraded heirlooms (which means around 5 or so hours without). Going from 1-90 takes about that same span of time as well. So uhmm... what part of that makes the instant 100 a big deal? With a game that you can just solo quest all the way to max level.
As for this game, do you really think the leveling process is mandatory at this point? At least for people who already leveled to max on one job, that is. You don't really learn a whole lot while you level, and if you have the drive to learn, you'd do it anyway regardless of taking the slow approach or jumping ahead. Do we magically not have bad players now or something? Those guys were forced to group up too to get to the HW areas. While I don't really see a point to having the instant boost option here, I'm not so ignorant as to just automatically state it'll be the destruction of the game, which is exactly what it seems you're implying. Correct me if I'm wrong about that. We are talking about a game that lets you level up solo, aren't we? One that even in groups, lets you be carried too. Maybe if this game were very strict about its leveling process, the argument against an instant boost would have significant merit, but where we are now... it's just pointless defense.

I don't think so. We already have so much in the game that provides an EXP boost (Rested EXP, buff food, FC Actions, as well as bonuses to first-timers), so why, even though we have all these avenues for EXP, does this apparent 'mindset' warrant an EXP pot?
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
does it warrant it? no
will it be there? most likely yes.
do you think WoW doesn't have exp boosts as well?
does it have insta 100 now? yes
see the trend?
is the in game advantage significant? probably not. Though getting to end game faster does give you more of an advantage.Just to emphasize why I said it's not a big deal. I recently subbed again. You're only seeing the leveling progress while ignoring what it causes for end game.
How much of a difference 3-4 hours gives you. That's like an extra day or two of savage practice.
Or are you gonna say that it doesn't matter because it doesn't impact the majority?
I'm done. We obviously have our own way of thinking and will never agree on where the game should go.
If the cons of the game outweighs the pros I'll just quit like I did WoW XD

I literally addressed those concerns in that second paragraph. So... oh well to interpretation?is the in game advantage significant? probably not. Though getting to end game faster does give you more of an advantage.

Good for you on being willing to quit if you don't like the game as it is. That is literally what everyone should do if they're unhappy with something. I am 100% serious on that. If it does come to that, and you do go through with it, then much respect for you on it. It's a logical standard that most people fail to go through with. Assuming you see this anyway.

"One MMO did it, it means all of them will." Get over yourself. Also, I'd like to know the lottery numbers, since you can actively tell the future.![]()
