Seems to me, people who forked over the cash are feeling a bit of buyer's remorse. They come in here looking for any sort of validation that they didn't just get milked by SE.

That's not what I'm reading. I'm seeing four groups of people.

1) People who don't like the cash shop and are saying so (more)
2) People who don't like the cash shop and are ridiculing other people (fewer)
3) People who use the cash shop and seem a-okay with it (includes me for what it's worth - I'm looking forward to breaking this bad boy out when I get home). (more)
4) People who use the cash shop and seem gloaty about it (fewer)

Par for the course for these threads really.

This is a fairly good summary I think. Obviously opinions vary on the matter, but I'd love if we could drop out groups 2 and 4 as neither side is helping the discussion.

Trading the future of the game for a vanity item to brag about. Because they belive, the money the spend on the vanity item is somehow invested back into the game.

The only way this game will ever develop further is when subscriptions drop and people stop feeding SE money. As they are now, they have absolutely no incentive to keep developing the game, the player base is steady, the cash shop works wonder to get the company extra money and the subscription probably is funding other projects/meeting investers expectatives while the dev team is basically doing "what they can with what they have".

And heres one of those doom and gloomers blaming people who buy stuff on the cash shop for the games inadequacies. Cash shop additions are few and far between. and they have added more mounts to the game per each single mount added to the cash shop lol.

But no, anyone who uses the cash shop is bad and should feel bad, wahh.

For the record, I havent purchased any of the cash shop mounts. I just dont think its as big of an issue as people make it out to be.

Its not a mount or several mounts for that matter.

Is the very existence of the cash shop itself. People paying whatever they belive a mount is worth isn`t an issue. That there is a mount outside the game you can pay for is the issue.
