What Race Should the Next Jobs Be?

So when SE creates propaganda art for the new jobs they are gonna have to make them a certain race. My question is what race do you think would fit for any future jobs?

Here is a list of what gender and race each class/job is depicted as. (the depictions are the 2D art, not anything 3D. Also only Hyurs are categorized since their is usually a distinction between the two)

Gladiator - Male Miqo'te
Paladin - Male Roegadyn
Pugilist - Male Hyur (Highlander)
Monk - Female Hyur (Highlader)
Marauder - Female Roegadyn
Warrior - Male Hyur (Midlander)
Lancer - Female Hyur (Midlander)
Dragoon - Male (possibly Elezen)
Archer - Male Elezen
Bard - Female Miqo'te
Rogue - Female Miqo'te
Ninja - Male Hyur (probably Midlander)
Conjurer - Female Miqo'te
White Mage - Female Lalafell
Thaumaturge - Male Lalafell
Black Mage - Female Elezen
Arcanist - Female Elezen
Summoner - Male Hyur (Midlander)
Scholar - Female Elezen
Dark Knight - Male Au Ra
Machinist - Male Miqo'te
Astrologian - Female Au Ra

So here are my thoughts on what each new possible Job could be depicted as. Also while I don't know which jobs will become tanks, I think the next Tank should be depicted as female.

Red Mage - Female Elezen
Dancer - Male Miqo'te, just because making a female dancer would be too easy
Geomancer - Male Au Ra
Blue Mage - Male Roegadyn
Puppet Master - Female Hyur (Midlander).
Beast Tamer - Female Roegadyn
Salve-Maker - Male Lalafell, so that a male is depicted as a healer for once.
Samurai - either a Female Au Ra or Roegadyn, I feel that this class should be depicted as female and Au Ra would make the most sense, being that it's an Asian Job.

No, none of the jobs I listed are "confirmed" just those are the highest contenders, that I am aware of.

Samurai HAS to be male. race doesnt matter (except potatos) but it needs to be male. When you picture a samurai you don't see a cute little kawaii girl, no you picture a strong independent guy( any race except potatos) wielding a bow in tow and a large katana in armor.

For the sake of concept art (similar to the WoL party of male PLD/WAR/BLM, female WHM/BRD), he is, yes.

I'd be happy with a female SAM for concept art. The only real question to me is whether I'll be happy with the XIV incarnation of SAM, gameplay-wise, when it comes...

Is the Elezen BLM in the WoL party, male or female? Cause the 2D image is female, but I never really paid attention to the 3D in game rendition.

Yoshi might have him transition to Samurai, like he did with Dragoon. But each job has a main concept image, and Derplander is already for Warrior. Although, they could use another Midlander Male Hyur for Samurai, though i hope they don't I love the contrast of stereotypical gender roles, like female healers and male attackers. Give us male healers and female attackers. XD

I'm confused, where in the race selection are you seeing potatoes? Sorry, "Potatos". Are Potatos a new race? I hope so, getting sick of all the boring Hyur clones.


On topic, I gotta throw my vote in for more Roe/Lala representation!

As it stands, most Domans/ "Far Eastern" folks have been midlanders or Raen. So if SAM comes along then I can see it being Midlander or Raen.

That being said, i don't recall ant Duskwights in any(or most?) promo stuff.

As for Geomancer, I'd expect an Raen Au Ra attatched if SE pulls their inspiration from FF11, where it had an East Asian motif being based more on the "taoist" alt name for the job.

Geomancer's appearance has been less consistent than most FF jobs, but the bells and attunement with nature has me leaning towards a Wildwood Elezan, as it's backstory could easily be routed in Grid.
