they said this? Its gonna be a merit type system, so dont argue that much, they wont unbalance the game, they have the first steps done, so the next thing is to be specialized in some role but not loosing base stats, what im worry its whats going to happen to traits for stat boost once they abbolish the class marks.
Ohh yeah they are going to put things back as it was they like to work without reason changing the stat system....
You really need to pay attention of what theyre doing, why should they change the stat system?(yep because it was unbalance) so they got rid of all the free will on stats and said that they were going to implement the stat allocation later but without changing base stats, read the letters.
i never tought i could find someone that clueless, im gonna say it again so you dont miss this, they dont work for nothing, they did that as many of us know to have a base for every class, no more conjurers with 250 vit and 5mind and 5 int.....
Why are you taking it offensively? I was merely asking did they state this or was this an opinion. It's really hard to tell, but judging from your response it is your personal opinion.Ohh yeah they are going to put things back as it was they like to work without reason changing the stat system....

Actually, although I did quit for a while, I remember talks of the removal of physical levels, and the stat allocation was removed along with it,not because of in-balancing issues. They were retooling stats as a whole also we no longer had physical levels, and allocation was directly tied to that. What are you going on about? You seem very butthurt for no goddamn reason.
You must also not be very good at the game as you think a conjurer with 250 vit, 5 mind and 5 int is overpowered lol.

LOL
I wasnt being offensive, but well theres no point on telling you about the stats, when i said no more conjurers with 250 vit 5int and 5mnd i meant weaklings that only want high HP and suck as playing their role -.-
You need to play again to understand it by yourself, the classes now feel balanced and have their stats where they needed in order to play their role, gladiators are not longer gimped in hp and def, have good magic stats so they can cure properly, in a few words classes are functioning as intended.
Having a merit point system is almost the same as what we had in FFXIV at the beginning, but the difference is that you dont gimp stats in order to have better stats in what you want but you have the freedom to especialize in some role, if you read a post that i made after you can see my example...
They said that they are implementing the stat allotment but they needed to put some base stats first to be able to check classes and fix them in 1.20 according to the feedback, so its not my opinnion as you said, read the letters i think in one of the last two letters was or in one interview.

Nice, another stat nazi. If you don't like the way someone plays there role, don't play with them. Instead of doing that though, you want to cry to us that we should all be set up your way. Not to mention, you show a massive amount of ignorance here. Do you even have a clue what adding int or mind did for a mage? NO.
This is as bad as yous saying "I despise the color green so no one should be allowed to have money".
Beacause your making example you know nothing about. 20 CON and 36 THM displays that. DO you even know what INT did for mages? It literally only modified the your 3 weakest abilities. INT was 100% broken. So to sit here and claim people with 5 int had bad builds that made your life harder in game. that just goes to show you have no clue what you are talking about. If you have an opinion thats great, but don't lie or talk out your backside about situations that don't exist, and pretend facts you made up.
Balanced? LMAO....seriously? ....Maybe you need to play. there is no balance. MRD can out aggro the thanks by miles and match top DD classes. Archers damages was "overbalanced" and is well below par. LNC are OP by miles. GLD enmity is totally broken. You need to play again to understand it by yourself, the classes now feel balanced and have their stats where they needed in order to play their role, gladiators are not longer gimped in hp and def, have good magic stats so they can cure properly, in a few words classes are functioning as intended.
If I mail you some cash, wil you do us a favor and go out and buy yourself a clue?
so who needs now some money to buy a clue? ill send you some money lmao.Nice, another stat nazi. If you don't like the way someone plays there role, don't play with them. Thanks bayohne you owned him, lmao.
And just for the record i dont really care how you play your character/class/role or whatever but is it fair to you that after inviting a conjurer as mage job healing or nuking you find out that they suck because they gimped important stats for whatever the reason? The last system had its flaw in that i was one of many against changing that system because i felt it was going to be rigid, but after checking the update i realize that is better having some limitations as a merit system.
I was an archer too you know and was my main now is gimped but they eventually gonna balance that class again, and when we get the merit system or point allotment whatever im gonna customizemy class as i see fit, some will go with dex, some with str, some with pie vit so its not so bad at the end everyone will have their own touch.
Oh and you said that im 20 con and 36 thm you dont need to be 50 to know a thing or two of a class....
ost people don't no. But you do, you were talking nonesense about the mage classes. You appeared to have no idea what MND/INT did for them. That was clear.
And then this ^^ my favorite part. He confirmed that I was correct, that stat allotment adjustment per class was returning.
So why the foolish comment, showing you were confirmed wrong by the devs?
