    Spreading buffed DoT's with Bane.

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked 100s times but I couldn't find it anywhere.

    1. If I use bane on buffed DoT's while no longer being under effect of the buff, will the spread DoT's be buffed?

    2. If I use Bane while being under effect of a buff to spread non-buffed DoT's will the spread DoT's be buffed?

    3. If I use buffed Bane to spread buffed DoT's will the spread DoT's be buffed?

From what I've seen Cleric Stancing, Bane coppies everything about the DoT and doesn't check your Int again when cast.

    1. Buffed DoTs spread as buffed

    2. Non-buffed DoTs remain unbuffed

    3. Bane cannot be buffed.

DoT's get a snapshot of your buffs and enemy debuffs when you cast them. Bane spreads DoT's with their buffs/debuffs (or lack thereof). Ninja Trick Attack > Tri-Disaster on TA mob > Bane is common in raids where it can be planned out.

So if I use Bane on DoT's cast on an enemy with increased or decreased magic defense it will affect potency on other enemies that have no buffs/debuffs, right? It's gonna be a perfect copy?
If yes then I'd like to ask another question - do buffs/debuffs stack? If I spread DoT's will their potency be affected by buffs/debuffs active on other enemies? Will a buffed DoT spread to an enemy under the effect of Trick Attack be further buffed? What if it was not buffed? Would it get buffed in such situation?

    Yes it will.

Referencing T12 that was actually a tactic of Baneing off the Black Fires once they received the increased damage debuff. Which was later needed for them to have reduced HP instead.

Do buffs/debuffs active on enemies they (DoT's) spread to also affect their potency?

No, the potency is fixed based on the state of the caster and the initial target at the moment the DoT applies to that initial target. That potency will remain until the DoT either expires or is overwritten by a new copy of itself and will also apply to any copies of that DoT made with Bane.

Think was also common in A2S, smn would put dots on the mob after it had got the 5 vuln ups, then bane from there
