we do need a wardrobe/archive system of some sorts tho... but not as much money in it for SE so will never happen.. they want people buying retainers :P

You know, you made me remember something yoshida said in a live letter. He was looking into a way that people could just glamour from their retainers....so yeah, it makes sense that the retainer cap will go up in 4.0 so I hope people have their cards ready.

Only thing I REALLY want in this game is from a free to play game called Firefall.

Specifically, Firefall let's you recustomize your character (you can change hair style, hair color, voice, skin color, eye color, and even your character's gender) anytime, anywhere, whenever you want, as much as you want, for free. As far as I'm concerned that should be a mandatory feature in any MMO.

I agree with the wardrobe system they have in something like GW2, but I HATE how much of a cash shop it is, when you have to buy the charges to use said wardrobe item, and all in all it's better to not have it at all, people complain about some of the mog station, no imagine if you had to go buy "equipment fantasia" XD

Just make it use glamour prisms still, keep them relevant but make the system a little better. For example I would like to see glamour prisms stored how you store Shards, Crystals and Clusters, all compiled onto 1 tab not taking any inventory so you could stock them up and change your glamour on the fly. This would be a perfect system to me anyways, not sure how others feel about that with the glamour prism storage, it might do something to the market? I could see the glamour prism market bloom or die, I guess to work around it dying they would have to allow you to quick synth them (If you can't already, can't remember) and/or make every craft give 3 prisms.

One thing that makes me chuckle is that some people think SE is above the whole jump potion idea and will never do it when they are already selling you space and not allowing you to naturally send things to characters on your own account. They aren't debating on doing it, they're just figuring out the prices.

I wish SE would look into other MMOs and copy great stuff that exists out there. Best wardrobe system I ever used was on LOTRO (lord of the rings on line) What a great concept you could glamor stuff and save it for EACH character and each character could have up to 5 different looks. Here I cant even have the same outfit twice if I just simply dye it a different color. I have had like different looks I loved so far but each time I make a new cosmetic change I have to be stuck with just that one look.!! WHY?
Am I missing something?

Best wardrobe in any mmo i played was DCUO. simply find the gear put it on and bam you keep that style forever and you can change it on the fly. no items to use or vender to go to to change it. and you can destroy the item if you need room and still keep the style.

People, including grown men, like to role play. Glamour plays a HUGE part in that. Not to mention I don't really know why it concerns you whether a man likes to play dress up, it's not hurting you. That comment was a little insensitive.

TLDR, but I would really love a wardrobe system, similar to Guild Wars 2. Basically, the glamourable items can be converted to glamour-only. You lose the item after sadly, but the look is permanently stored in your wardrobe. From that wardrobe, you can mix and match your clothes, even see how different pieces look together in different dyes (which is unlike 14's current dyeing system). The prisms can be carried in this wardrobe too, so that could free up retainer space. And it can be accessed anywhere.

This is not entirely right - Non-crafters can "use" the finished glamour prisms (and orchestrion rolls). They just cannot get them without a crafter. This is made to "keep crafters relevant", aka screw DoW/DoM only players because crafting itself cannot stand on its own, unlike battle content and thus, needs purpose beyond itself.

Considering that I don't craft or harvest or play the market, that means that I'm always broke and therefore do not have any gils to spend on crafters. Hard to keep the crafters "relevant" in that situation if I don't have any gils for the orchestrion rolls or the glamor system. The only place where I've spent gils is for my private room and furnitures and other stuff for my room.
