You dont run roulettes or do maps?Considering that I don't craft or harvest or play the market, that means that I'm always broke and therefore do not have any gils to spend on crafters. Hard to keep the crafters "relevant" in that situation if I don't have any gils for the orchestrion rolls or the glamor system. The only place where I've spent gils is for my private room and furnitures and other stuff for my room.
I've got 26 mil and im not a crafter or gatherer by any sense of the word.
This may actually be the most ignorant thing I've read here, and that is saying something.
Also, literally every adult I've known who owns expensive dolls and dresses them up has been a man.
Some costumes were in shop. Although you could buy everything from shop without using real money if willing to grind enough.Oh yes I forgot that feature, the way it was set up the armor was separated in heavy and light or medium so PLD, DRK and WAR would all be able to share/interchange. DRG/BRD/NIN would be medium and the all others would be light armor sets. Something along those lines. Nothing was bought from RL store like Mog station but you could buy additional space in the "special chest" that the glam gear was kept in. I really loved that game but true after Moria it started getting a bit too ....sigh
I always upvote this idea in hopes that SE will relent from their current stance. We know it's not 'impossible' based on the evidence of other games doing it. With the current system there are several annoying limitations. Gear used by multiple jobs (current BiS crafting and gathering gear for example) can only be glamoured for one class/ job. You have to reglamour things every time you upgrade. The inventory bloat caused by the enormous and supurfluous variety of glamour prisms prevents most players from keeping any glamour prisms in stock.
The way it is currently I pretty much don't mess with glamour at all. I'd have different looks set up if I could just set them and leave them independent of upgrading equipment, but when every upgrade means pulling out the old equipment and crafting a few prisms to return my look to the way I had it, I just can't be bothered. Moreover I'm usually more likely to do it on my crafting classes where it's not really available all the time.
They currently sell too many Fantasias, which means SE knows we're willing to pay for this, so such customization will likely never become free.Only thing I REALLY want in this game is from a free to play game called Firefall.
Specifically, Firefall let's you recustomize your character (you can change hair style, hair color, voice, skin color, eye color, and even your character's gender) anytime, anywhere, whenever you want, as much as you want, for free. As far as I'm concerned that should be a mandatory feature in any MMO.
Yeah I'm up for it.
People enjoy their fashion, whether they're male or female. Granted in the real world sometimes fashion tends to lean more to treating Women and leaving men with limits.
Regardless of that, I'm sure many men also enjoy being able to stylize themselves with fashionable outfits in a more masculine manner, occasionally effeminate. Depends on the guy and their preferences.
holy y i k e s, batman
It's fine if you don't get it but uh... jut assuming everyone who calls themselves a male thinks the same way as you? Y i k e s
I mean I don't get PVP. What's the fun in that? But I don't think that the devs should just scrub it away from existence; obviously people like it and play it.

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME
One little thing i would add to Krazymagic
Is that you may not understand the whole concept of dress up (i forgive you you're a walking potato after all)
But some people like to have a tailored outfit, something whole !
Most of the BiS are composed of midas, lore and mhach City stuff that are entirely différent in aspect
But if you're competing in the trash bag couture categorie
Go ahead, i'm fine with my glamour as it is.
Looking fine is as good as doing fine
...
And yes some mn like to dress up so what about it !
Says the manly man who plays an online video game as a feminine looking Lala instead of hard working and building muscles. See? I can be an ignorant sexist too if I want.
Keep your personal insecurities for your self please and do not try to insult people.
