Please make the ranked system work like before.

It's really disheartening to rank up for nothing.... What's the point of going gold or higher if you still get matched with new players.

It was bad enough before with gold getting bronze players but now no matter how high you go you will still face the same people :/?


It's really not fun for gold players to lose just because they get matches with people of way lower skilll. And it gives even more reasons for top players to not play once they go high because it will be more rng than anything else.

I can no longer take this season seriously with the poor matchmaking. It's a joke and leans more towards RNG then Skill.

Haven't played Season 2 yet! Season 1 had RNG too, but it seems people is having more trouble in season 2.

Their programming does baffle me. Are there zero tanks/healers for unranked players to be matched with?

I don't think it's a great experience for both sides of the coin.
- Higher ranked players each rolling the dice on the quality of their unranked player(s).
- Lower ranked players being thrown to the wolves who have experience and blow them up in seconds.

I know it's early in the season, I know the PvP community is small, but I also feel that there are times when there are enough people to fill both games up (one game having all unranked and one game having all ranked).

Yep. Pretty much haven't queued since I hit gold since I still get unranked. The main motivator of grinding up to gold / plat in S1 was knowing you wouldn't be stuck with new people anymore.

Have pretty much stopped worrying about ranks altogether and just enjoy the lower-than FL-quetimes Feast provides. Last few matches we got a new healer...lost 2 of em but won 1. A few gold ranked players (this was at nighttime) actually switched jobs to change it up a little and experiment. Since, ya, the ranking system is crappy, and there are people genuinely concerned about their own rank, yep, might be best to stay away. Just me I guess but I just enjoy being able to have low quetimes to get back in and have some fun. At the end of the day, that pvper standing beside you most likely isn't gonna give a crap if youre bronze, gold, or ruby pink with sparkles. Just take each match for its own sake and have some fun lol.

Sorry but playing against healers who fall over in 2 seconds and don't even know they have attunement is not fun. It's a joke.

Going against tanks, or even DPS for that matter, who pick up far too many stacks and give an easy win is not fun.

Getting these players on your team is even worse.

Screw rating. The only reason rating was better last season was because at least you knew you'd be getting someone who had some experience. Once you hit games that had a Diamond in them then the games were high-quality matches, not the shit that is bronze and unranked.
