I'll give the party finder idea a try when my erratic schedule allows me enough time to sit and actually do a "FULL CLEAR". Thanks for the help!Erratic schedules isn't an excuse, you can use party finder with the message "FULL CLEAR" and there's a much better chance you'll be able to finish, even if you have to wait a little longer. And if you do happen to get a jerk? They're on your server, so you can just blacklist them and never get them again.
I'm all for improvements on this content, but not improvements based around douchebags in the duty finder, as you can easily just not use the duty finder, unless your server is 100% dead or something.

I disagree try getting a level in DF in an hour and a half post 55. Atm the weapon isn't the incentive for me, it is the exp that's the incentive and the weapon is just a bonus.Increase exp rates drastically for this dungeon, if you want people to keep playing these, you need to give them an incentive, the exp is really poorly scaled at the moment, having to run through the whole thing (1 - 50) to level up about once at level 55 isn't that great, and if you want people to make people farm this more you really need a better incentive, also.
You can tell them to log off for 10 mins after the boss is killed so they get kicked off the boss room for inactivity. That will roll them back to 41-50 without screwing over the party members.Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times, yes.
I'm all for something -- anything -- that'll encourage people to actually stay and finish 41 - 50. Earlier today, my party was held hostage because not one, but two (maybe more) people didn't want to do the last boss, because they "didn't want to run 1 - 40 again". We all had spent our vote kicks, so the quitter AFK'd and forced us to vote abandon.
My RL schedule is erratic at times, so fixed parties aren't much of a thing for me. Matchmaking was the only way I could finish my first run through the Palace. It's my go-to thing. It's a damn shame that I, and many other people, are being forced to abandon runs, because someone decided to go AFK.
Really?
I'm gonna try that.
Thanks!
EDIT: Maybe I won't try it. I'd rather just bite the bullet and start from floor 1. Early floors are fun because the party gets to split up and solo, plus the early floors go fast. I'm also wondering if that's gonna be fixed with tomorrow night's maintenance. I'm thinking if I get to the point where I'm 29/29, I'll be tempted to use that method.

Most like adding the 100% chance +1 after clearing all 50 floors. They said something about it in the japanese sub forum.EDIT: Maybe I won't try it. but queues are only going to be relatively fast because the content JUST came out, and a lot of people are aiming for the items because midan gear isn't for casuals, so even though the weapon is just a bonus, a lot of people aren't going there for levels necessarily (also I tonk, my queues are literally always instant but I digress)
Not really even after it is still faster to get tomes from there too. Also you can just keep spamming 1-10 for exp and resetting instead of going all the way to 50 takes about 10-15 mins with a decent group.but queues are only going to be relatively fast because the content JUST came out, and a lot of people are aiming for the items because midan gear isn't for casuals, so even though the weapon is just a bonus, a lot of people aren't going there for levels necessarily (also I tonk, my queues are literally always instant but I digress)
