Anyone disappointed with the PotD weapon?

Easy content does not have BIS weapon. Yeah, and? The weapon value is above and beyond the level of difficulty to acquire it. It's an iLvl 235 weapon that honestly is a really nice upgrade for people not farming EX Primals.

I'm using the PotD weapons to gear out jobs that I'm not wanting to do a relic or a 7 week Lore grind for. I probably should just suck it up and farm Nidhogg but I don't feel like doing that right now.

All 3 healer weapons are identical in terms of stats, and completely lack PIE.

I don't want PIE in my WHM weapons, but I could use some Spell Speed.

The DRK weapon is better than anything bar relics/savage weapons.

If you want a BLM weapon then get Horde, it has spellspeed on it. Different jobs have different content they should be doing for the right piece of gear.

The relic is certainly a grind, but it is quite easy content that's required to get it.

The problem is that people always want BiS gear even if they'll never raid and of couse for as little effort as possible.

Yuuuup. I'm not in a hardcore static so I'll probably never beat the top tier savage fights. So I'm GLAD they add easy stuff like this to get (almost) bis weapons. Sure, it's a bit of a grind. But it's free. You don't have to do it all at once. It's not hunts or fates, and i take the sub stat with a grain of salt. I'm not getting one for my bard (main) as i almost have i240.

Don't worry, they're still green. Also, they're ending up much better than Nid weapons for most the classes with all the crit/det combos.

Though I do agree, if you really wanted the Niddy weapons believing they'll help you a lot more than these weapons, you could at least use your glow stick to help farm Nid for a weapon you believe has better stats.

Though for other people..it is kind of a "why bother?" get the glow stick and glamour something else on, call it a day.

I expected it to look how it does from the start, at least that's what I got from the pictures. It could very well end up being that the glow goes away with an awesome look..we won't know until later.
