We whine about it but do it because we want the reward. Doesn't mean we enjoy or like the idea.

How I see it:

normal medals: 100% drop if you finish a FATE with gold or silver rating
minions: buy them with the normal medals
special medals for the weapons: not 100% drop from FATEs if you do them with a yo-kai minion
event duration: around 2 months
