    Bard Heavy shot animation problem

Hi so I've been playing bard for about a 3months now and I love it, it's just that out of all of the instant register shots Heavy shot takes about half of its animation to register comparing it to emp arrow or ven/wind bite and straight shot which are instanly registered to the target. Wondering if they can make Heavy shot register a little more faster, because it strikes the enemy at the end of its animation. so either make the animation a bit faster or move the shot in the middle of its animation. This doesnt include ping just try it for yourself go to a striking dummy and compare heavy shot to all the others.

The animation is a bit annoying compared to the others plus it overlaps with wm hitting otherskills

They should fix these animations before anything else.

    But I know they won't.

It's just one of the quirks of the game, a lot of ranged/projectile based skills have the same problem.

The funny thing is Blunt Arrow hits instantly the moment you press the button (how silly would it be for an interrupt to have a delayed hit register?), so clearly they can do it if they want to. They just choose not to for the other skills.

Jump Rain and Spinebreaker, right? I don't see the issue.

I mean, if we were able to squeeze a CD into its travel time, there might be an advantage. But no. Luckily, I think I'm fairly certain it hits with full force even if a CD fades while it's in flight or the enemy hasn't realized he's been hit yet, but it scares me any time I end a CD window with a Heavy Shot.

I know the support team reads these forums once in a while; so I'm just gonna say, I know these animation issues aren't going to be an easy fix, but I hope they think about tweaking them going forward into future expansions.

The developers seem pretty on top of rolling out improvements to the overall combat feel (see: mudra lag fixes, and the undocumented ogcd buffer change in 3.3). Now that those are out of the way, these delayed animation hit registers that multiple classes suffer from are probably the next biggest issue.
