Been playing with my friends as well as some DF runs. The real magic of Deep Dungeon is in playing with people that you know, especially over voice chat.

* Decide to run as 3 tanks 1 NIN just because that's what we feel like playing, spend 40 levels pulling aggro from each other, tearing through everything, crying when we trigger pacify traps, going all out to make it through big mob pulls.
* Get cocky and wipe on 49th floor, FC leader groans because he thinks we start at floor 1 but wants to go in again anyway because we're having so much fun...
* Laugh and cheer at him when he realizes we just start at floor 40.
* Try out new combos and silly things with our classes because we can!

So much of PotD captures the classic fun a lot of us have been missing, and we're so happy to see it. I think most importantly it isn't an old-school romp, but it's how we remember and want to experience an "old-school adventure".
