I think what I everyone here is missing is my interpretation of "immersion and lore".

I don't care what it is. No matter what. No matter how stupid it is.

So long as it is a prevelant part of the final fantasy universe.

Edit: Nevermind, not going to parrot what the others said but here's my problem with it.

My problem is they once again force FATES on us for a sickly amount of time to collect them all.
What we really should complain about is friggin' God dog friggin' Fates dude...It's every time.
Please stop the FATE MADNESS. I'm serious. You guys seriously need to incorporate events better than shoving FATES down our damn throats for years.
Add them in dungeons, that way dungeons can still be ran and relevant AND help queue times. Stop trying to make open world full of people because we have levelers/Relic hunters still going at it.
You have to stop. I am not going to sit through and watch T.V. shows and crap while subbing to this game.
I'm not playing, I'm watching Youtube tryna to bum rush FATES YET AGAIN.
