Disappointed in Youkai Watch

This....so much this....I was actually excited for this event and I liked PotD but gosh....you can't even like anything hardly. I usually only come and look at the crafting/gathering threads b/c stuff like this wears me out.

This is the forums, what do you expect? People are allowed to dislike things, geez. There's plenty of other threads praising SE and the community.

I don't disagree with people having an opinion. And frankly there are plenty of these types of threads hating on everything that ever is produced ever.

So if you don't disagree with people having an opinion then what's your problem? Not all of these threads are created by the same person. What one person dislikes, another will love. Don't generalise them all into one.

The only thing that dissapointed me is the community of this forum, always complaining about everything when something doesn't like them. Not only dislike the event, also dislike if other people who enjoy it take part.

I remember people beating bahamut in nude glamor, or Snowman glamour. So, what's the difference? I personally like this kind of stuff.

Almost everyone in this forums seems hate the entire game, always believing they can do better job than devs . If you don't like the game or how devs make things, why you continue paying&playing?

On the other hand, I'm a bit irritated by people who happen to like the content, but feel the need to put down people who don't like it. Having opinions is fine, and understanding why it's the case is also important (within reason, anyway).

Here's a thought, though; neither side seems to be the minority or majority. There's topics for both perspectives but it always seems like the negative ones are the ones that go on for longer discussions, for better or worse. That at the very least should be an indicator of the player reception and community interaction within the OF.

im dissapointed that we dont have a fun dungeon that has nothing to do with the lore of ffxiv , like on outer world dungeon from thief , where u have to sneak around instead of fighting , or some dungeon from tomb raider where u have to jump and climb around and solve puzzles :P

edit : im not really dissapointed , but it would be nice if we had such a dungeon XD

While i agree it's beyond ridiculous, i will happily try my best to ignore just like i have to ignore flying turtles.
SE is abit bi-polar with lore on one hand we still have GC locked Frontlines and on the other hand we have flying turtles.
Also flying turtles.

I'm more annoyed at the volume of things that were added for such a small cross-over event.

I've been playing since just after HW launched, and this is more than all the other events I've seen combined... And has nothing to do with Final Fantasy.

Just seems odd to put that much effort into it.

I'm okay with that. It allows more time for the 'disappointment in the disappointment' threads. to appear.

Honestly, it's things like this that make me hate people - which really is the largest source of buzzkill and damage to my 'immersion'. I just try to ignore them.
