I haven't seen any Slime Hats in-game, and I've been playing over an year.

Which is sad, I love that hat. I can guarantee to the OP that they won't see the minions at all after a few months, a lot of the weapons will go in the armoire apart from a few, and the mount is really the only thing we will see

It was a quest that appeared twice in 2.0-2.1, so this was back in 2013-2014. So, it's not really surprising that you haven't heard of or seen them anywhere recently. I think I've linked to all of the past promotional events below.
