Disappointed in Youkai Watch

So this is where the rest of 3.3 content went too, I wondered why it was so lacking. 2 months of fate grind.

What have it to do wih 3.3?
And please don't say extra work that are missing from 3.3 now.
Adding different rewards to already existing FATEs is not much work.

Don't like it's addition myself, it's advertisement content put in place because Pokémon Go is creaming the market.

To be fair, data miners found traces of Yokai-Watch minions in FF14 code quite a while back, so it's obvious something related has been in planning for a good bit. Pokémon Go's recent success has nothing to do with it. Just a concidence.

I'm sorry but I disagree, it doesn't matter if it's here or if it's in another game. Immersion breaks will always be a thing and I personally have yet to find and play a single MMO where something in the game exists that doesn't break immersion for someone. It's fine though and as long as people are enjoying whatever it is then who am I to pass judgment on the mount, glamor, or whatever it is they find fun. It's totally okay to break away from the seriousness for a little to just have some silly fun. Of all the things to complain about in any game immersion breaks are far low on my list.

As for the Call of Duty thing....you'd be surprised. When World of Warships did their April Fools event and released a map that was a bathtub and players were driving toy boats. Players raved about it and wanted the map to stay in it year round I remember my friend telling me.

It's okay to have a sense of humor and it's okay to let other players enjoy something and be happy even if it's not something you enjoy.

You actually took the time to argue the OP's reasoning though, and didn't just post a meme and a sarcastic comment. That's what I have a problem with. People will come on here and try to invalidate other people without a solid argument, or try to humiliate them for likes, and I think that's wrong.

If people can provide good reasons to argue, I wasn't speaking about those people. Please don't take it the wrong way

Don't you dare claim to be the authority on who is and is not a Final Fantasy fan OP, especially while you claim to be one in the middle of an absurd temper tantrum that makes you look like a five year old that needs a time out and an incredibly long cool down hug.

It's one thing to be upset about something that you do not like, or to want the game to stay "pure" it is another thing entirely to spend 13~ pages raging about it to the point of entirely alienating even the people who may otherwise agree with your opinion by coming across as a toxic player who should reevaluate why you play games to begin with if an optional event is so anger inducing.
