A potential problem with Deep Dungeon down the road...

Today I ran Deep Dungeon in a matched party on my summoner, which was 48 at the time.
    I ran it 3 times.
    Now it is 51.

This seems like a great way to level up really really fast, especially for new players.
But there is a major flaw with this.

The speed of the dungeon and nature of it leaves little to no time to actually learn or even use the skills for the job you are playing.
For example, in the dungeon I played Summoner at level 60. I had access to a ton of new skills, with really little opportunity to learn how to use them.
What is this Dreadwyrm thing? And this other dreadwrym thing? And this new buff I acquired? (I did figure it out though)

I had already level up to 48 before, so I knew how to use all the skills up to that level well because I did FATEs and Dungeons and whatnot. Lots and lots of practice.

But I am worried that new players / people trying a job for the first time, will be able to use the dungeon to jump to 60, have completed none of the class quests, and have no idea how any of the skills work.

It's really easy to get to 60 with this system, but it does little to teach people how to play the job. Especially considering the low difficulty of the content.

For example, as a WHM in a group, you can go through the entire thing with just Stone I, II, III and Cure I, II.

What are we going to do when we have (even more) fresh 60s who are missing job skills and don't know how to use the skills they have?

People raise levels is not a problem if the end will have to complete the MSQ

The people who want to learn how their skills work will put time aside to learn them.

There are plenty of people who dont know how their skills work before deep dungeon even got introduced there isn't much SE can do. Just comes down to if the players wants to read the skills or not. Also even if people level from there I don't think job quests will be a big issue because when they leave they will see they don't have the skills anymore.

I think this is a nice way to show people classes/jobs they haven't played before in a controlled environment without just handing them leveled jobs already.

You could say that the opportunity to try out the full skillset before you actually get it could give people more opportunity to learn how to use it. Especially if you go in with a friend who understands the class you're currently leveling. For example, if you went in with someone who mains SMN, they could teach you about the Dreadwyrm Trance in a relatively low-risk environment. One-on-one private training course!

I actually see this as a love/hate thing. I definitely can see the "hate" part of it, but with me the "love" comes from that very same thing though. It's kind of a "try it before you buy it", just getting the levels quick, enough for a small taste of what that class/job is like. Then you could decide whether or not you'd want to commit yourself to UGH!ing your way to 60, without having to actually do it first and then finding out the class/job wasn't all it's cracked up to be (for me, this would be the dragoon class). A real time saver.
