Which won't happen because SE is a Japanese game company and traditionally console titles sell better there than PC titles (Windows-based PCs are generally regarded as 'just a tool' there). So SE games will always be console-centric, that's just being realistic.
Then split the player base, at the very least. More work, sure, but it's old tech and it's not like SE is strapped for bank. No obsolete consoles holding PC back.
While it would be nice, but realistically it won't ever happen. SE wants more for less and I really don't see them switching gears away from this. They've stated they stopped doing three dungeons per patch due to development issues with experimenting with new content as of now. Could you imagine how it would be if suddenly they split the platforms. Took the base game and did a complete overhaul to make it more PC better. All while developing content and maintaining for each separate game? It would be a mess.
Face slot! Please! I hope they will implement that in 4.0!
