Still haven't had FC ranks increased since 2.0....
Summoner pet glamour supposedly coming 'soon' (how people are satisfied with the excuse that more summons can't be created is beyond me)
Figuring out a way to NOT have our companion being considered as a party member? (This seriously didn't sound like it was going to be an issue in development?)
Figuring out the direction of JOBS since classes dont seem to be a thing anymore (yet still keeping the cross-class system....oddly enough rogue can't share any...but maybe they will in 4.0)
Passives are nice since we got 0 in 3.0

5 seems like a good place to stop for now

I don't have much to contribute to the thread as a whole, but as an aside: The reason so many of us are satisfied with that is that we understand that balancing and designing pets is hard work. When you add a pet to Summoner, you add yet another tool, or in the case of Titan-egi and Garuda-egi tools to the Summoner's kit. Summoner is already very powerful in terms of what it can do. The job has a potent targeted buff (Eye for an Eye), one of the most powerful debuffs in the game (Supervirus), is the only damage dealer that can raise, a nigh-passive 5% AoE slow, the strongest bind in the game, and a Heavy that also cuts any incoming healing. Now when we add on pets, we get access to two that can stun, an AoE version of flame spikes, a knock back, a limited off-tank, and the ability to extend their own DoT effects. To add in another pet means to add something in that Garuda-Egi, Titan-Egi, and Ifrit-Egi don't already do or their master doesn't already do, and there isn't a lot of precedence for what we as players can have for them to add a new tool to Summoner that wouldn't break Black Mage's back.

All of this should have been egi abilities that we utilized when needed and switching between egis when needed. We as the summoners shouldn't have this power but fuse it with the egis.

And here I though summoner was about summoning. That excuse can only go so far. WoW is a prime example since warlock is pretty close to how summoner is. This game likes to stick to a role instead of a theme. Garuda = range | Ifrit = melee | Titan = Tank. There's nothing that is actually special for each one. People thinking that each avatar should 'fit' into this particular mold are honestly not thinking about how the class should be played. Going back to wow's warlock, you have the same thing, but then if you look at demonology warlock even now since they added even more pets, you have distinctive themes per pet outside of what each one can do. Voidwalker is your usual tank, felhunter or whatever that dog thing is has a dispel and interrupt. Imp has range can can cleanse. The main issue that this game has is that there's no real crowd control, so not only is summoner stuck in this 3 trick pony deal, but alot of other classes are since everyone is a one-man army and doesn't have to really do much outside of their rotation.
