Community project: Recipe levels (with a few small prizes)

Hi all. Of the ~1600 new recipes, about 500 specific levels are listed on mooglebox (thanks to all of you who have emailed me over the last two weeks).

But I want to get the rest! SOOOO, I've made a really really easy way for you to contribute recipe levels. When you craft something, just head over to mooglebox and enter the item, your level, and how much exp you got.

It will only take you about 10 seconds, but you'll be greatly contributing to the crafting community with every entry you make!

To the three folks who submit the greatest number of unique recipes over the next 16 days (until Nov. 20th), I'll make you a forum sig, or if you're on Fabul, you can have your choice of a forum sig or a million gil.

What's the word on <Item> (3) recipes and dyes since they share levels with the base item?

Good question...

It would probably be best if you made an entry for each color/yield of item (like you have been doing, tyvm ^^).

BUT if you don't, I'll just copy the level to each color/yield of that item. And I'll give you credit for each one.

*HOWEVER* sometimes the yield is a different recipe level! I haven't noticed this with colors yet, but a few items (for instance Mythril Ingots) have a level difference of 6! So be careful when assuming levels.

I got an SQL error when I submitted Ranger's Hat. Apparently it doesn't like the apostrophe, so I submitted it as "Rangers Hat"

I will keep an eye out on your no-level recipe and make sure to submit info when I craft one.

Hey. Amazing response so far. Thaaaank you to all of you who are contributing. So far you've submitted about 350 recipe levels in a little more than 24 hours. If we keep this up we'll be done in a few more days. I can't wait to post all the players names that have been contributing =D

Just a note... if you emailed me recipe levels before I started this little contest, I'm counting your contributions, too! So you're in the running!

Update: The recipe level submission page has a dropdown list of only the remaining needed recipe levels. There's also a sortable table that lists what recipes we still need to explore. Don't forget you can click on a row to mark it pink (to help you keep track of things).

*edit* The best way to see what's in your level range is to filter the class column (by typing into the input box at the top of the CLASS column, and then click "LEVEL" to sort it by level.

By the way I don't know if I'm using the search function incorrectly or what, but when I typed "crab ball" or "Crab Ball" and search, it shows me the blank page with the blue chocobo in it. I was freaking out to LS friend and saying to him "Moogle box doesn't list fishing bait recipe!!!!" To which he replied with a URL http://mooglebox.com/entries/crab-ball.php That of course took me to the Crab Ball recipe.

Also, I can't get search result for steel arrow. If I use search box, it sends me to blank page like the above, but if I look in All Carpentry recipe, and click on Steel Arrow link to check materials, it sends me to 404 not found page (don't bully the moogle or something).
