    FFXV will surely have a 4K version for the newest consoles, at least 4K texture packs, SE could then mod FFXV into FFXIV and we would have the latest in graphics from that game although that would be a drastic approach!...

    I'm definitely sure that if FFXIV development team wanted they could remake the whole game in 4K, at the very least add a 4K texture pack, they remade it once then do it again, it might take a while though!...

    PS3 Limitations this game looks amazing even with it trogging along with the PS3 but as I imagine it could even better once PS3 support is dropped and we can get bigger and better things

    I would like a model overhaul. I serious doubt it unless it had the caveat that any old gear would not change. Not even sure how it would work but it's a wish list right? And an optional HD texture pack would be nice too.

    Considering FFXIV is a subscription based game I'd think everyone would want the best possible experience!...

    Why would anyone still want to use Windows XP or a PS3 if there are far better options like a modern PC!?...

    The problem isn`t the PS3 support. The problem is the dev team insisting on the ridiculous idea of all platforms looking more or less the same. If they would just enhance the game for the PS4 hardware and give PC users modtools and HD textures and support for more advanced technology, while keeping everything as it is for PS3, none of this would be an issue.

    But, they fear PS3 might get discouraged from the game cause... Surprise, PC and PS4 can handle much more than their platform. Thats ridiculous.
